2005 altima blowing hot air

could be your switch, or you have a freon leak and there is no freon in the system. open hood and watch the ac pump and have them turn on and off the ac. if in engages then it is probably freon. if it doesn't check ac fuses.

My 2004 caddy blows out warm drivers side...sometimes cool...and kinda almost cold....and blows cold on passenger side

Hello: The first item you need to check is the freon in the system. If not low on freon then you have an air delivery problem. To check that you will need an up scale scanner to read the codes of the HVAC system.

2001 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA ..S/C BLOWING WARMISH AIR..FIRST SHOP SAID EVERYTHING COMPRESSOR AND ALL THE GOODIES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT ABOUT 3200!!..TOOK IT TO ANOTHER PLACE WHO CHECKED AND SAID NO...

AC always leaks freon through the pulley shaft in the compressor.
The best way to hold freon longer, is to use the AC every single month, even in winter, for a few minutes. That helps oil the seals.

If you have not had to replace the freon before, you were just lucky.
It is almost always just the freon.

Not only is the $145 appropriate, but you could have just gotten a can and done it yourself for $20.

And by the way, a whole new compressor is more like $400 plus $100 labor.

Front vents blow cool not cold back vents blow warm I first thought that there is a small freon leak but not sure.

Hello,I am Ron,Be sure to check for a freon lose.To do so,you really need ac gauges, and some one who can read them. The freon level is the most likely cause of the problem, this ac check is necessary,to determine for sure of the freon loss,or any other problems, such as a weak ac compressor. If I can help let me know,,,,>roniecon@gmail.com

You probably have leaked out your freon after so much time. Try adding some more Freon if it doesnt stay charged you may have bigger issues.
