Do you have the owners manual? The manual will show you where they are and have the diagrams. There is one under the hood and one on the drivers side near the floor. If you don't have the manual, go to this FREE Ford website to view or download the owners manual for your vehicle:
www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals

Hope this helps.

I have a 1999 Ford Explorer XLT and the brake lights and reverse lights don't work. I don't have a diagram of the fuse panel. We have checked everything else.

Have you checked under the hood in the engine compartment? I do believe there is a fuse box there with fuse for the brake/reverse.

1993 ford explorer - toublshooting fuse/electical problem

I believe the fuse for your starter is in the power distribution box, 93 explorer 4.0L 4X4. find diagram for this in Chilton Ford Ranger/Explorer/Mountaineer 1991-1999 Repair Manual 26688 page 6-43 Fig.88 Be aware that there are (4) figures for the 93 4.0L explorer and each shows a different part of the same engine wiring. See top right 'power distribution box' follow lines to the part of your engine you are concerned with, which fuse number, then look inside your engine, passenger fender, push down on the protective ?wall then pull the cover up, see your diagram and fuse numbers. The diagram for inside fuse box, page 6-31 fig.63 I hope this helps
