How do I put the driver side power window back on track and the door panel for my 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5SE?

R/R the inner door panel, slide the window back on track, reconnect the window transmission to the window, (or reinstall the trans) bolt everything back together (window motor, window trans to door etc.) Make sure the window is in the UP position. use the switch to raise the window & keep it up if all is back together before finally installing the door panel ( make sure the switch & other plugs are plugged in before the door panel is reinstalled.) Lights etc. Good luck

There are 3 switches above the rear view mirror. The middle one controls the back windows. Push up to open and down to close.

1992 Toyota Pickup Window is hard to roll up

Gotta pull the panel back off and see what is happening inside the window track GUIDES.
There are 3 adjustments.
There are plastic rollers to guide the window in it's track.
You will see.

My rear defrost doesn't work. There is power to the switch but no power to the back window

check to see if power is coming out off switch to back window. if not switch is bad. try this if need be to find out if wire is broke. run a wire to back window from output on switch, touch or put it on defroster lug at back window. if it works then the main wire is bad, make sure all fuses and relays are ok. heres an eaiser way !! remove switch, jump from positive wire to wire going to back window. thats if wire is ok, to back window.

My oldsmobile Alero 2003 the rear window defroster does not work power to the switch but does not work on window

if no power from switch to back window, then it has to be the switch. if there is power to window, then it is in the back window defroster grid. its a possibility you have a bad wire or fuse, but check out power to back window first. have a good one !!

Drivers window will go down but not up

It may be that it is not on the track properly or your power window motor is old and tierd and can take the window down but it doesn't have the juice in it any more to bring it back up. replace the motor and it will work. This problem happened to me in my '76 ford ltd and a new motor fixed it.

I have a 1996 mercury grand marquis and the rear defogger is not working. hat could be wrong?

Please rate. Thanks

could be the switch whcih incorporates a relay & timer.

Window, Heated Back NOTE: The radio antenna is integral to the window glass and is serviced with the back window glass (42006) as an assembly.

The heated back window consists of:
  • a series of grid lines baked on the inside surface of the back window glass and system wiring which includes heated back window ground wire (18C620) and heated back window feed wiring (18C619).
  • the grid lines, which consist of two layers. The first is brown as viewed from the exterior, and the second is silver as viewed from the interior.
Power for the back window glass defroster grids, the heated outside rear view mirror and the heated back window switch indicator is supplied from the power distribution box through a fuse HTD BLT (40 A)which protects the circuit.
