not sure about the color, but the low press charging port is in the large AC line, the one that gets cold, the small line is the high pressure line.

SOURCE: 2002 Ford Explorer Sport, diagram to add freon

there is a port and it takes r123a and it has a green port on it but if it's leaked out you mave have to have it vachumed out, if you charge it be sure to get R134a with oil so that you don't burn up the pump, when the thing leaks it loses oil.

Where is the low pressure port ?

That port would be located at the rear of the passenger side fender well under the hood. It's kind of against the firewall. Be carefull of moving parts as the front of the engine is right there. Good luck

Lack of power thunderbird sc 1990

This code doesn't cause any lack of power, the fact of the matter is that code 25 is most likely a symptom of the problem, the engine has excessive spark knock being sensed. Have the engine compression tested and have it checked for a misfire. Also have the fuel pressure tested, low fuel pressure can cause this lack of power as well/

Can you describe where I would find the low pressure port for the a/c system on an '07 Chrysler T&C? I found what I would think would be it up toward the back/left side of the engine compartment. ...

You missed the correct port alright, that is the high side. You don't want to connect to the high side. That coupling on the refill kit you have will only fit on the low side. Those fill ports are usually covered with a plastic cap that looks like a tire valve cap to keep dirt out. There are two lines that come off the AC compressor, follow those back until you find the valves, the low side is the valve your quick connect will fit on.

I cant find the low pressure recharge port on a 2005 thunderbird so I can charge the air conditioning

Look about 5" from the compressor on the hose assy,
suction or return side

If you need to add refrigerant,& you won't know that
you do,you would have a leak & be breaking federal
laws by trying to add & then poluting the atmosphere

You car & and Lincoln LS are twins for the most part
You need a knowledgable a/c person & a scan tool,
as well as the usually a/c equipment you won't have

You can not add to any vehicle system,as you will let
air into it,it won't take ref under prressure & you may
overcharge it & ruin the compressor or worse

98 Lincoln Mark VIII: I can't find the low pressure port to add 134. I have looked online, had friends look, and have taken it to O'Reilly's (like AutoZone), they could not find it either. ...

I suspect it is partially obscured from visibility by a bracket on the passenger side of the firewall. The low pressure port is actually on the receiver/dryer below this bracket. See the link for a video on how to get to it. (It's for a Ford Expedition, but is probably the same on your Mark).

Line that carries freon. What does it look like?

It is an aluminum line that goes from the firewall to the compressor--this is the low pressure or return line. There is a second smaller line that goes from the firewall to the radiator--this is the high pressure line. The system is charged using the smaller port on the larger, low pressure line. The port looks like the valve on a tire, but is larger. There is a similar port on the high pressure line, but it is larger yet, and your recharge hose will not fit on it. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.
