2006 mercury outboard opti max 200 engine alarm, (4 beeps). oil was run low, do i need to prime the system or should it prime itself?

The low oil sensor is not "seeing" the oil in the tank...(mine does this when I crank it,, the low oil light stays on).. It uses plenty of oil,,I quit worrying..- -don't feel like taking the oil system apart..
Get one of these.. I have one for every outboard I ever owned..they DO come in handy...

Low fuel alarm lamp lights constantly

The low fuel alarm is triggered by the fuel level sending unit in the fueltank in most vehicles, I suspect you need to remove the fuel tank and replace the fuel level sensor.

How do you stop the alarm if the battery is dead.

The battery cannot be dead if the alarm is going off. however it might be to low to start the car and cause this situation. I would use the alarm remote to reset the alarm or un-hook the ground cable on the battery. Or charge the battery.

There is an intermittent chime (warning) periodically when I am driving my 2000 jeep larado. At one point the information center flashed low window washer fluid. I topped off all fluids and it still...

hey mine too, im ignoring the TPMS bs.
the fluid switch is fibbing, that means,,, its bad or dirty or stuck.
service the washers. clean it all, look for wires loose there, for
sure the low sensors. or replace it.
there is no other way, besides, like me , ignoring it or jabbing an
ice pick throught the sonic alarm device. (done that too)

The oil alarm come on after a 10mn drive at slow down

Check for low oil level on engine dipstick. If not that, change the oil, it is getting too thick. If not that, there is a clog in the oil pump or the oil filter. Change the oil filter first.

Citroen xantia alarm & stop light on dash

PSA cars with analog instrument clusters have the STOP light to alert drivers of irregularities in engine temperature or coolant that may cause severe damage to the engine. Check your radiator coolant level and top up when it's low. Don't forget to bleed the air from the cooling system. If problem persist, check for loose connectors to the Coolant Temperature Sensor(mounted on the cylinder head) and the Coolant Level Sensor (mounted on the side of the coolant refill tank). For the alarm, check ALL door switches including those for the front hood and the rear trunk. They may be shorted to earth or one of the door becomes ajar. Next time the alarm triggers, check which door looked like it's slightly opened. If so, realign the door hook located in the door pillar.

Oil pressure warning light is buzzing and i've replaced the sensor on my 94 vw golf

Could be a few things, I assume you've checked the oil level. You could have a worn engine and therefore low oil pressure, could need a new oil pump. you can connect a mechanical oil guage to check whether it is a problem with your guage

Alarm went off while sitting in car, won't reset with fob. Also it now won't start now. After the alarm stops, it stars up again after awhile. Had to unhook the battery. This started after the air pump...

There is an alarm arm/disarm switch in the key cylinder for the trunk and both doors. Just put the key in and turn it to UNLOCK and the alarm should disarm. As far as the reason for it going off...Check the pin switch for the hood. This switch is located along the right front fender (hood open) and is on a very thin metal bracket that is easy to bend when working under the car. Usually the bracket gets bent just far enough that it still allows the alarm to arm, but as it gets cold in the night, the bracket deforms a SLIGHT bit more and tells the alarm that the hood has been opened. Just grasp the switch and bracket and slowly bend it up to level again and the alarm should be OK. You may have to disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for 15 minutes or more and then hook it back up and reprogram the key fobs.
