If you can get the switch out you could run a hot wire to the back side of the switch just to get it moved back till you fix it.

Can't get the drivers seat to move, could it be a fuse and where would that fuse be located?

Fuses are located on the drivers door jamb and in the engine compartment. See your manual. If the passenger seat is power and it works, then your problem is not a fuse but a switch.

My passenger seat on my 2001 mercury cougar wont lean forward so passengers can get in the back seat. can this be fixed or do I need a new lever?

there is a wire or rod connected to this lever which may be broken or the plastic keeper broke and the rod fell out..need to see if this can be acessed and repaired or if a replacement seat from a tow yarsd is in order..good luck..

How to replace 2001 oldsmobile aurora battery

Lift up on the front edge of the back seat. The battery is on the passenger side. You must replace it with a proper battery that vents through the floor like the existing one.

2002 Oldsmobile Bravada power seat and heated seat is not working. (Passenger side)

Either have broken wires leading to the heated seat and the power seat controls, or the heated seat element is burnt out (but not likely).

Check for blown fuses for the system, but if one side or the other is not working, it's more likely a wire broke somewhere, in this case, on the passenger side.

My passenger side window will not go down and now also my power driver seat doesn't go back. It only moves forward.

I had this on my 2000 gm van and I had a small fire under the passenger door jamb. This was helped to put it out because there was no seal and always wet to help put out the fire. LOL!!!

Broken power seat - cannot slide backward. Can I slide it manually?

Ck for debri or other objwcts in way of tracks Does it try to move? If so, there is an obstruction, If not trying or no sound when switch is moved, could very well be a fuse or the forward limit switch is being affected by excess forward travel. Move the switch yo back and without kinda help it. if it's trying.
