Second time my head gaskets have gone can i swap to a different motor or how do i fix it so it will last 2006 f350 6 litres

Are you sure its the head gaskets..Most of the time its the EGR cooler and oil cooler..We have a fleet of about 60 of them..Out of 30 ,,29 of them were the coolers and only one was the head gaskets..When its the head gaskets,,it will blow water out of the jug...But both the coolers and the head gaskets will put steam out the exhaust..Drive kinda hard and let it sit overnight and then pull the EGR out and see if its gummy..Job security them 6.0

2003 explorer whit 4.0 lt have oil in radiator and coolant in oil pressuretested oil cooler has good compression runs good dos not overheat no misfire

sounds like a blown head gasket. Pull plugs and see if a couple are very clean due to moisture burning in cylinder.

I need the fittings on the radiator, where the lines from the transmission connect to for a 2006 Ford Explorer. can i buy these separately?

Using a backup wrench disconnect the fitting and oil line. Use a tubing cutter to cut the line short of the the crimp. Use a flaring tool to flare the cut ends. Install a length of 3/8 inch inside diameter oil cooler hose with hose clamps on the far side of the flares.

Oil in the engine coolant. no oil in water. I don;t think it is trans. fluid from cooler in radiator.

The seals on you oil cooler are gone. The oil cooler is located under the intake manifold. Hopefully you haven't driven the vehicle far because the grey mud created by the mixture with bake onto your engine walls sealing up the ports. It's best to have Ford (or a damn good mechanic) do the job as the whole top of the engine basically has to come apart. Roughly $3000 to fix providing you haven't damaged anything else. After the seals/oil cooler is replaced, you should flush your coolant at least 3 times. Good luck!

[2007 ford f550 72000mls. v10 automatic. motor ceased oil level good.] pulling 40ft. pipe trailer. had tow button on. oil level gauge wasnt marking. turned truck off, checked oil under the hood. level...

sounds like u had a oil pump go bad

if motor ceased it junk now but with this truck only having 72000 miles on it i would put a new motor in it if you do decide to put new motor in it and plan on doing that kind of towing i highly recomend puting a oil cooler on it and high voulme oil pump if this truck has a factory oil cooler that in the radaitor i recomend u disconnect that one and put a aftermarket cooler on it if u do decide to reuse old oil cooler make sure you blow all the old oil out of cooler because it probley has **** in it from motor seizeing

2001triton v10 oil leak

i believe you are looking at the oil cooler, replacing the gasket is not that difficult, drain the radiator, remove the oil filter and it should be 4 bolts and the whole assembly comes off, keep in mind though its more common for the oil filter itself to be leaking rather than the oil cooler gasket.
