Every time I go over a speed hump even slow or a bump in the road there is a thump or bang from the front right wheel

the dealer is having you on
thumps , bumps and the like indicate something worn , loose or ready to go bad quick
it could be lower ball joints, upper control ball joints or upper mount if strut suspension
could be worn rubbers in the stabilizer bar area
Best take it to an accredited suspension specialist shop and have it checked out ( get a quote to fix) before it fails and causes serious damage
if it is serious and costly get a report and then front the dealer for the cost of repairs or talk with a lawyer

It's impossible for anyone here to give an estimate because rates and parts availability vary from state to state. I'd call your local Volvo dealer parts department to get an idea of the parts costs or even if they can find one. You may have a better chance of locating the parts in a junk yard.

Cluster 96 pontiac grand am cost fix

Sounds like the dealer is at fault here for not testing their work before saying the car was done. Maybe the ecu needs reflashing or reprogramming, IDK. I would take it back to them and show them. If they act like "dealers", get ready to complain.

Talk to your dealer, they should make a claim to MINI. Just look on google, you are not the first with this problem. In many cases MINI has covered the labour and sometimes the parts. Find as many simular problems as you can on the internet (, and print these and take them with you to your dealer.
It should cost you not more than $400
