Question about 2006 Ford Fusion

Open Question

I have a 06 ford fusion and I am having some ac problems. I checked the freon and there is plenty there, also checked all fuses related to the ac, but the ac is still blowing hot air. Any help would be appreciated.

SOURCE: 2006 ford fusion ac problem

As a Ford dealer tech I found this was always caused by the AC compressor cycling switch, it shuts the compressor off when it reaches about 30 PSI, this prevents freeze up and saves fuel, when the system press rises again to about 42 PSI it turns the compressor back on and so on, change the switch, it is located in the low pressure line from the compressor, that is the one that gets cold.

SOURCE: NO HEAT ON 2000 FORD TARAUS

there is a valve on one of the heater hoses that is run by vacuum if it don't work hot water will not enter the heater core. If it does work maybe the heater core is just plugged up.A quick fix for that is swapping the heater hose's I know one is bigger than the other but if you can it will change flow direction and it will flush the core. It should work after that. Heaters aren't controlled by the cars computer they may be controlled by the controller but thats cars with climate control

SOURCE: Air conditioner on 2002 Pontiac blowing hot air, although freon is not low...also makes a clicking noise.

Take it to a garage and have them evacuate the system and refill with refrigerant. you have air and non condensibles in the refrigerant system.

SOURCE: 1999 Ford F150 AC fully charged with freon is blowing hot air

there are few things you need to check out:
1. if the compressor is overcharged it will shut down and you won't get any cool air
2. the thermostat for your cooling system is bad
3. the link to adjust the temperature is too short (did you feel the switch loose when changing temperature from hot to cold)?
hope this helps.

2006 Ford Fusion Air Conditioning compressure not turning on.

Thats pretty high if the system is not running. Average pressure on the low and high side should be near outside air temp.
Normal low side is 30-40 psi and high side is 200-250 psi when the system is running and the freon charge is full.

I have a 2006 ford fusion. The ac compressor will not come on. I jumped the clutch relay out and it will run. I checked all fuses in the two circuits for the relay and all is well and has power. Is there...

It's the evaporator temperature switch, ford has tsb's out for it. You have to remove the dash board to change it, so far I've done 4 this year and it's only June. FYI it's 1.1 lbs of freon...........

2002 ford mustang air conditioner stopped working. How do I locate the problem?

FIRST I CHECK ALL FUSES AND RELAY.TO BLOWER MOTOR IF IT STOP BLOWING.AND CHECK FUSE TO HVAC SWITCH CONTROL.AND CHECK FUSE / RELAY TO AC COMPRESSOR.IF FUSE / RELAY GOOD POWER GETTING TO AC COMPRESOR CLUTCH COIL AND LOW PRESSURE SIDE 28 PSI AND HIGH SIDE 200 PSI. CLUTCH COIL IS OPEN.IF REFRIGERANT LEVEL LOW YOU MAY NEED MORE REFRIGERANT.YOU NEED AT LEAST 28 PSI ON LOW SIDE AND 200 - 220 PSI ON HIGH SIDE.IF ALL IS GOOD STILL NO AC PROBLEM COULD BE A FAULTY AC CLUTCH CYCLING PRESSURE SWITCH.
