Need to know the location of the automatic headlight sensor for a 1993 Buick Riviera Gran Touring

The automatic light sensor is a fish eye bubble on top of the dash.

DO NOT use dash mat,it may cover the sensor and disable the auto brightness feature.

Dash lights dim when outside lights turned on

Dash lights have much to do with the outside lights. There is factory built in system with the dash lights. When the car is driven during night time the dash lights automatically become dim to eliminate the eye irritation to the driver.
If it is equipped with dimmer switch the variable resistance or its electronic circuit may be defective and be replaced.

1999 LEXUS RX300 MISFIRE CHANGE EVERY THING THE COMPUTER SAID AND IM STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM

I just went thru a situation where I replaced all the 6 ignition coils and plugs along with 2 O2 sensors. The engine continued to throw codes and was doing a type of missing that I now understand is known as "fish-biting". I read a thread that this engine has an "oil pressure control valve" on each cylinder bank. I found them and pulled them out of the heads. I found that there's was to check these, but one of mine, the one nearest the front of the car, looked burned. I spent the $70 bucks. The fish-biting has been eliminated, and the car runs very smooth. Hope this helps.

Can you jump start a 2004 suzuki swift?

Yes, you can jumpstart the Swift. Anytime you jumpstart a car, please be cautious.

Because of the dangers inherent with jump starting a car battery, we highly recommend using jumper cables specifically designed to help eliminate the possibility of an explosion.
CAUTION:
Lead acid batteries generate explosive hydrogen gases. Keep sparks, flames, and lighted cigarettes away from the area.

Cables should only be connected to batteries with the same voltage ratings. That is... both batteries should either be 6-volt or 12 volt batteries. If for any reason acid contacts eyes, skin, or clothing, FLUSH immediately with large amounts of water. In case of eye contact, see a physician immediately.

Note: If the battery is cracked or appears to be leaking fluids... it's time for a new battery. Be careful as the fluid coming out of the vehicles battery can cause damage to you and or your car/truck.

My car jerks when it runs for a couple of hours. why is that

Well if its a 92 to 95 the transmission can make it jump.Almost feels like a fish on a line.My old 92 did that and according to the Ford dealership they said its an adjustment at the shifting linkage under the hood, now i cant be a witness to that because they worked on it not me.MAY NOT be anything wrong with your transmission at all,but with problem solving its good to be aware of as much as possible then do process of elimination..maybe someone else can also give hints as well.

Clutch pedal stays down

Still have air in system.. Try this: Pull pedal up,fill reservoir to the top, open bleed nipple on slave cyl all the way, leave for a while to "gravity feed" keeping the reservoir full,& an eye on the nipple, until all bubbles are expelled and clean brakefluid drips out(could take a few minutes). Close the nipple, and bleed system as usual....
