I am not sure what you mean by a zh switch is this an aftermarket brand? but in any case you have to have more than a switch you will need a wiper delay controller you see when you turn on the delay system all the switch does is send power to the delay controller then the controller operates the wiper system. some of the old switches had a variable resistor built into them that all it did was slow the wipers down and some a a long timed flasher can that would delay the wipers but they were not adjustable when you turned on the delay the wipers would just delay at one speed.

i hope this helps

let me know if there is any thing else i can do for you.

now that helps a lot. you will need the switch and wiring harness because there is 2 power source wires for the delay that the non-delay does not have but the wiper motor should be the same...good luck

Wipers don't work in high speed and when intermittent wipers are set they stop in the middle of the windshield.

Yes that is likely a switch problem. Before you buy any parts have a shop confirm my guess.

I have replaced the wiper switch on my 1990 F 250 and it still is not working properly. Since the wipers work I am assuming it is not the motor. That seems to indicate it is something called the...

Hi:
If your truck has a wiper switch that you rotate counter clockwise to get the intermittent wipe mode, and turn clockwise to get to the low and high settings, then your truck has a interval wiper relay module. You could have a bad wiper switch assembly too, as the intermittent part of the switch is seperate from the low and high wiper switch. It is a inexpensive part, less than $20 for the switch, and the interval wiper relay part is somewhat expensive, 70-100 bucks or so. My truck didn't have intermittent wipers when I bought it, so I went to a junk yard and removed a switch and a module from a wrecked truck for $40, and it has worked fine ever since. Maybe you can find a good used part to swap into your truck for testing? Once you buy new electrical parts, you cant return them!

Wipers do not work in intermittent position. They do work in low and high speeds but do not automatically return to the park position. They stop wherever you turn the switch off.

i belive that your wiper switch has gone out on the intermittent side. this is a very common problem.
I hope this helps you
Thanks
