SOURCE: Passenger side seat belt won't pull out

It could have twisted on recoil and is now stuck. You'd have to remove the interior panel to view that.

On the really bad side, the seat belt pretensioner could have failed or fired and locked the belt in place. If that's the case, I'd have a mechanic replace it since you can trigger an air bag deployment replacing it yourself.

SOURCE: My rear seatbelt in my subaru outback is locked and wont pull out to buckle up. Can it be fixed

I assume you've already worked the seat belt end back and forth with force. Did the belt move at all? Did you remove the rear seat bottom cusion from the car? That will give you additional leverage on the belt.
If the belt twisted the last time it was used and then rolled up, you need to go to the dealer or an upholstery shop for help.

SOURCE: IS THERE A SEATBELT MODULE

Remove the B pillar trim to see if they are just twisted or if the retracter is faulty. There is no module keeping them from extending.

The rear back seatbelts willnot unlock,on either side,

you should be able to replace them with any seatbelt set you can find in the junkyard. sometimes you have a U-Pull it place that either you can pull seat belts out or they pull them for you. just replace the belts with any model or sedan near that year and you should have a decent replacement at a low cost. if not, take the seats out (back seats) and get to where the seatbelts bolt on to the body. you can try to take the assembly apart and see if you can fix it. you will need small tools to do this. sounds like they got over extended or maybe have corroded. you could try to lube them with penetrating oil of some time in a spray form to see if they free up.

Release retracted seatbelt

The safety belts are sensible to release speed (u have to release it kinda smooth). Also they are sensibile to car inclination (lean) may not release whel when rise/fall position. If locked,u may have to shake a little the belt so the locking spring/balls to unlock.Eventualy ,when driving it can release by itself. One thing is for shure:no sudden moves:it locks again (as in the impact scenario)Cheers

Pull the fuse it won't affect the seatbelts from working correctly. otherwise you have to disconnect each seatbelt lock to find the defaulted lock. As for the airbag light; do you have the type that can be turned off with a key? It may be permanently turn off and needs to be turned back on with the key.

Pontiac grand prix 2008 seatbelt chime

fastening seat belts is not always the answer as some sensors need weight to cancel the light after the seatbelt is fastened. best have it checked out by an auto electrician as the seats may have been changed and the wiring not properly connected.

The plastic cover should be able to be removed. There is a ratchet mechanism for the seat belt, after removing the cover, you maybe able to free it up to get the belt loose, some WD-40 may help.

Rear seat down and wont go back up; locked middle belt

middle seat belt shouldn't have anything to do with it. The seat locks down for stowage in the rear cargo area. you can pull the release handle on the back of the seat to release it back into the up position.
