Question about 2005 Toyota Tacoma
I have included a wiring diagram of the starting circuit, as you can see from the diagram there is two power feed wires from the battery one of which goes to the starter the other to the power distribution box the only way the lights and starter could be effected is if the battery were the problem. the lights should not go out wile cranking the engine if they do have the battery load tested not just tested for power, there might be a cell plate grounding out when the battery is put under a load.
