If its running rough there may be a misfire in the system or dirty injectors; you can get a 3 step cleaning at a repair shop for the injectors. The first thing you want to do is take a look a the spark plugs and see what condition there in. If the problem continues there may be a sensor problem either air mass, idler air control, or 02 sensor that is dirt or filled with carbon deposites that is causing them to function improperly. If its have a hard time starting, then there may be somthing wrong with your charging system as well meaning starter or alternator that is going bad.

Hope this Helps!

It sounds like a problem with you coil pack or bad spark plug wires..You can test the spark plug wires by taking a spray bottle of water at night and spray the wires with the car running if you see sparks , replace the wires..If not ...replace the coil pack .This shouuld do the trick. Good luck!

Corroded terminals on the coil pack or coil pack connector would be the easiest thing check. If the wiring and terminals look good, then I would replace the coil pack.

any time you replace the fuel pump you MUST replace the fuel filter. Sounds like it could be a couple of different things. Pick up coil if it has a distributor. bad coil pack. Replace fuel filter first .Good Luck!!!!

flashing engine light means engine misfire. let car idle and mist the plug wires down with water, rev the engine up and down and look for little sparks jumping from the wires. and arcing wires can cause problems. before changing any bad wires check the coil packs where the wires plug in the three small boxes on the top back of motor. they are three packs with two wires each. one pack at a time take the two wires off to reveal the coil towers. have an assistant start the motor and make sure the spark goes from tower to tower. repeat on remaining two packs. if the spark goes straight down the tower the coil needs replaced. if there is no spark, the coil needs replaced.

is the car missing when driving? 2000 and on has coil over plug's there are no wires. Is the check engine light on? if so go to an Auto Zone parts store or one that will scan the car computer for free and get the codes out to pin point the problem. Sounds like the cars miss firing. it could be more than one coil and or plug going bad. Did you replace any coil packs? Bad coil packs are 90% of all miss fires on todays cars and trucks.

Car stalls in the middle of driving it

Is the temp guage reading high or are you just suspecting it needs to cool down? Could be thermastat bad or possible water temp sensor bad. Maybe water pump. After next time you run the car for awhile carefully touch the radiator cap and should be hot, if not then coolant is not circulating.
