Let first understand that only ford products
have a Fuel Safety Shut Off Switch

It is always closed so your fuel pump get current
It only opens in an accident
So that is not your problem

Check the internet for location
May be on either side of the front
kick panels

It will have a floppy red button & there is nothing
you can to to it

You can not turn it off or on or reset it

it is just a floppy red useless button

2006 Ford Expedition blowing Fuel Pump Relay fuse

Try resetting fuel pump. I do believe the reset button is on the forward passengers side of vehicle. The button is behind the plastic shield. Reset once or twice. This hopefully will fix your problem. Look in your manual for exact placement of fuel pump reset button

Where is the fuel shut off safety switch located in a 2001 ford epedition 4.6 liter?

The fuel pump shut-off switch is located in the passenger's foot well behind the kick panel. Depress the button to reset, you will hear a click if it is the problem as it resets. it is only triggered by a collision exceeding 3 G's.

Have a 2000 ford expedition 4X4 xlt. Vehicle just wouldnt start one day. Not mechanical but have friends who are. replaced fuel filter with no sucess. dropped tank and replaced fuel pump, still no...

What are you missing?
What testing did your friends do?

If you solved the fuel system issues
you still got ignition and air intake
system,as well as a long list of electrical
components.

Need a schematic and start testing
your vehicles systems,can't assume
or guess

2000 expedition changed fuel pump an fuel filter what else could it be is there a fuel reset button if so were is it located

The fuel pump shut-off switch is
located in the passenger's foot well,
by the kick panel.

Use the following procedure to reset the fuel pump shut-off switch.

1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.

2. Check the fuel system for leaks.

3. If no fuel leak is apparent, reset the fuel pump shut-off switch by

pushing in on the reset button.

4. Turn the ignition to the ON position. Pause for a few seconds and

return the key to the OFF position.
5. Make a further check for leaks in the fuel system.

It should be in your owners manual. I hope this helped and good luck.

Where the computer engine in a 2000 ford expedition

a '97 XLT with the 4.6 ECU is located on the passenger side by the fuel & air suspension cut-off switchs. It is just in front of the passenger side front door mounted to that fender - its not to hard to find once you know what you are looking for and if you use a flashlight.

Have change sparks and wires but he dont start i check reset button of fuel but dont start whta can be the problem

Could be a bad fuel pump if the fuel is not being delivered to the engine.
This happened to a 99 ford expedition we acquired where no fuel was being delivered, even though the reset button for the inertia switch was pushed or toggled.
