Without better information it sounds a lot like you put a connecting rod through the side of the block.....DOA.

Yep sounds pretty bad I think you cracked the block or head filled the crank case with antifreeze ,oil floats on water and is probely dripping out a dip stick tube or breather tube . or a rod through the block like Richard said.

I have no idea what kind of advice you would like

You could have checked the coolant in the morning
as well as the oil & still while driving you lost a head
gasket & it went into failsafe & shut off

When you say dripping oil, I don't get a good
feeling & your not saying where it is or what
you are doing with your suv.

I wouldn't be supprised if you find out
the motor is ruined,hope not

Oreillie's auto parts tested my 2003 escape gave me the code ignition distributor, engine speed, input circuit, does any one know what I need to fix my escape? Once the escape warms up, it won

Check your wiring to the cam sensor and crank sensor. If everything looks good I would think cam sensor is going bad. Also check connection on ignition module.

Driving in 105 degree temp, truck quits! What happened?

If the engine won't crank with compression in the cylinders, either the head gasket has blown or something else major has happened.
You will have to get it towed to a shop.
If it cranks normally but won't start, you have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem.
Did the temp gauge show it was overheating before it died ?

I have a 2001 Ford Escape (alternator just replaced) and as I was backing out of my parking space, and shifting into drive, the gear shift lost all tension and wouldn't shift. I turned off the engine....

seems like your shift cable is disconnected , you might have hit it when you were working on the alternator just go back and re-trace your steps

Driving home from church today and my radio in my 2003 Ford Escape just shuts off, Thought I had a ghost. Got home turned it off. Tried to start it up again, nothing. All the bells and whistles go off but...

Sounds like you have a problem with your charging system.
I would have the battery load tested and have the alternator tested also for proper output.
This can be done by your mechanic or auto parts store.
If you are a AAA member they will come to you and perform those test at no charge and install a battery if needed for a fee.
You can also try to jumpstart the car.

2005 suzuki reno losing water daily and cant find water coming out no where looked all over

loosing water without dripping come from anywhere
lets start with what my be seems simplest thing but quite essential for cooling circuit witch is the (pressure cap ) yes your radiator cap my be got old and not helping in keep water under pressure when keep coolant under pressure it boils at 120 c rather than 100 c and keeping it under pressure well also prevent water vapor escaping from radiator witch will cause reduce in water level and in boiling point
the other portability is the cylinder head gasket to check if that is your problem keep an eye on water color if the water color turn to be brown or milky then the gasket is bad mixing water with oil and also escaping the water vapor the same thing bad pressure cap will do but with combined problems
i hope you find the problem in the cap so it won`t cost you much money
have a good luck sir .

My jeep seems to be losing coolant but I don't see a leak

HI. This issue has many causes. i will list the most common causes below.

Coolant consumption::: Possible causes______

1. Check the head gaskets. The gasket may be leaking.
2. Check The Intake Manifold Gasket. This gasket may be leaking, worn, or damaged
3. Check the cylinder head for worn or scorn cylinder block.(This will require total breakdown of the engine)

4. Check the water pump seal for leaks as well.

Now that we have covered the basic check points for coolant consumption, i would advise to concentrate on the head gaskets if there are no apparent leaks on or around the engine itself. If the head gaskets are worn, the leak can be introduced to the engine internally, causing the engine to burn off the coolant. this is noticeable by removing the oil cap, after a hard drive. you Will notice steam that will escape the head as soon as you remove the cap. If this is the case, your problem will be with a failed head gasket.

IN a severe case, you will notice white plums of smoke escaping from the tail pipe during acceleration.
