I have 2007 Acadia.( 68,000) It needs a oil change, but the brake light keeps coming on and some other light too. I don't have a manual. Now when I cut it off and take the key out, it keeps running. After few mins it cuts off and make jumping sound. What could it be?

First get the oil done

Second buy a manual

Then find a local repair shop, never
a dealer,that has a good repution

Study OBD Systems & Codes on the internet

All these dash lights have been on all vehicles
for 30 years & everyone needs to get up to speed
if you own a car.

From the time you get a light on, until you check for
codes, diagnose & repair ,should be no more than
a week or you stop using any vehicle before you
do some damage.

How to replace a power steering pump on a 2007 gmc acadia?

Take it to a repair shop. It\'s a gigantic pain. Plus, if you don\'t have a good working mechanical knowledge of your Acadia\'s power steering system, it will still make noise after you replace the pump. Bleeding the air out of the system is absolutely critical to keep it from making noise.
Not the answer you probably wanted, but having done several pumps myself with the vehicle up in the air on a lift, it\'s still a pain.

I changed the oil pressure switch on my 2007 Chrysler 300 but the light keeps chiming?

The you really do have low oil pressure? have this checked asap with a manual test gauge. Do not drive it until the cause is found or risk destroying the engine.

Stabilitytrak/service brake system light keeps coming on

When these lights are on a fault code is recorded along with the lights you see, you will need to have the ABS Brake system/Stability control system scanned for the codes in memory before any conclusions can be made as to the cause or causes.

My engine light came on my 07 Acadia. I had someone run a diagnostic test and it gave me possible problems. 1.)Timing Misalignment with explanation crank sensor is not aligned with cam sensor....

There is a bulletin (or recall depending on your mileage) for this issue. The timing chain stretches due to lack of oil lubrication. The acadia engine is very sensitive to timing chain stretch. There are 2 things they will do. The first is a reprogram to let the PCM adjust for minimal extra slack, they will say to drive it and if it doesn't come back on you're good just keep up with the oil changes (5k miles or less with dexos oil). If that doesn't work they will have to drop your engine and replace all 3 timing chains. It's an all day event and may even take an extra day.

Turn the ignition key to "run" and then depress the gas pedal three times down, and let off...then wait for yor light to flash, then key off.

Need to change one of the daytime running light bulbs. Cant see how to get to it.

You will need to take the tire off of the side that the light is burned out on. Then remove plastic fender well insert. This will give you the enough room to change out any burned out light in the headlamp assembly.

Traction control off, service traction control, service stabilitrak - there messages keeps popping up on my 2008 Acadia...

{: ) Your stabilitrak system may not work properly. The vehicle need to be scanned for trouble codes. In case you get a C0196 code, the recommendation is to reprogram the electronic brake control module. I hope that's the only cause.
