What year and model is your car? Can you hear the gas door trying to release when you pull the lever or push the switch? A lot of cars have a manual release inside the trunk. Open up the trunk and pull back the carpet on the side of the fuel door to see if there's a release. It's usually just a cable with a little plastic handle. If you don't have one of these, you can get a really small screwdriver, put it in the fuel door and give it slight outward pressure while someone else is trying to release it from inside the car. When you do this, wrap a rag around the screwdriver to prevent damage to the paint.

Good Luck!

I have a 2005 Suzuki sx aerio and my hatchback is stuck in lock mode even when I use the key it just won't open

it just wont what. is it open and you cant close the hatch. if so you need to turn the lock and using a lever or screw diver and open the latch at the same time as if it was closed. when the latch opens it can then work properly. if you cant even get the hatch open. you may have something froze and getting it open will be hard if not impossible. could be a cable broke or the latch broke. and the only way to get it open will be pulling the inside door panel off and get to the latch inside the hatch and make it work with tools. like i said that will be hard to do when its closed. hope its open and you just need to pop the latch with a screwdriver

Drivers side door closed and will not open.

Remove inner door latch and try operating the rod manually (vice grips). If locked, spray everything inside the door with WD-40 or the like and try operating the lock.

There should be manual release cable inside the trunk behind the trim panel near the gas door location.

I cant open the driver side lock with key. Mechanic said plastic clip is broken can it be replaced?

The lock mechanism or latch may be jammed or seized for whatever reason and as long as it can be locked/unlocked and opened from inside without any problems than your linkage should not be restricted or causing the problem. Try some wd40 on the latch and with the door open flip the latch closed manually with your hand and try opening from outside and then inside if that fails several times and maybe that might free it up maybe not. Yes 99.99% of anything can be fixed as long as it's not beyond repairing

Both rear door latches are stuck and i cant open them took the door cover off and can feel the lock but it wont open

Pry them out with a screw driver! They still work without that fancy looking black square! It's a little bit harder to open, but it's easier then what you have now!

Drivers do will not open

very difficult. you literally must rip the door trim panel off the door. its made to come off with the door open. sounds like the actuator cable for the latch is disconnected or broken. just because the lock looks unlocked that dosent mean it is, it may be the lock cable at the latch. the latch assy is located inside the door.
