What year and model is your car? Can you hear the gas door trying to release when you pull the lever or push the switch? A lot of cars have a manual release inside the trunk. Open up the trunk and pull back the carpet on the side of the fuel door to see if there's a release. It's usually just a cable with a little plastic handle. If you don't have one of these, you can get a really small screwdriver, put it in the fuel door and give it slight outward pressure while someone else is trying to release it from inside the car. When you do this, wrap a rag around the screwdriver to prevent damage to the paint.

Good Luck!

Remove inner door latch and try operating the rod manually (vice grips). If locked, spray everything inside the door with WD-40 or the like and try operating the lock.

I cant open the driver side lock with key. Mechanic said plastic clip is broken can it be replaced?

The lock mechanism or latch may be jammed or seized for whatever reason and as long as it can be locked/unlocked and opened from inside without any problems than your linkage should not be restricted or causing the problem. Try some wd40 on the latch and with the door open flip the latch closed manually with your hand and try opening from outside and then inside if that fails several times and maybe that might free it up maybe not. Yes 99.99% of anything can be fixed as long as it's not beyond repairing

How do you replace the driver side door latch on a 2000 nissan sentra, cant see how it is installed and get hands in there. is there a certain way of doing this?

When you say door latch, what exactly are you referring to? There is the locking latch, inner and outer opening latch, or the door jam latch? Take the door panel off, make sure that the window is up, and then you will have access to any of the latches. The door jam lock/opening latch will have some screws in it, 3 total, you can take those out and off for better access to the actual door lock mechanisms.

Annoying, but easy to fix: Actuate the opening handle and manually rotate the latch to the open position.

Both rear door latches are stuck and i cant open them took the door cover off and can feel the lock but it wont open

Pry them out with a screw driver! They still work without that fancy looking black square! It's a little bit harder to open, but it's easier then what you have now!

Drivers do will not open

very difficult. you literally must rip the door trim panel off the door. its made to come off with the door open. sounds like the actuator cable for the latch is disconnected or broken. just because the lock looks unlocked that dosent mean it is, it may be the lock cable at the latch. the latch assy is located inside the door.
