How to fit clutch to fiesta zetec 2000 - Fiesta Ford Cars & Trucks

Posted by on

1 Answer

ALL Clutches on ANY vehicle in the world
require the complete removeal of the transmission
regardless of type

That is a job for a reapir shop with a lift
Todays transaxles are too heavy & the entire
job could be a safety hazard if not done the
correct way.

No flywheel or clutch work is for the first
timer

That said is started out as a machinist &
got more involved than your average mechanic

I have every thing balanced etc which should be
but never is.
I also never run stock clutch components

My fiesta mk5 zetec-s 1.6 is pinking alot loss

dealer only ,pinking is caused by timing being thrown out and its firing too early,by your spelling i asume your in the UK which means that your vehicle hasnt got an OBDII connector ,only fitted to vehicles after 2005 in europe so a cheap scanner wont help .Exactly whats playing up i havent a clue without plugging it in ,if you are in the UK have a middle of scate /chips /and nice big wally for me please

Fitting brake light - fiesta zetec

There is also a push in socket at the top of the light and a clip at the bottom. When the screws are all undone insert a flat screw driver under the light fitting about 4 inches from the top (remember to use a cloth under the edge of the screwdriver to avoid marking the paintwork) you should be able to push it out now.
