Holden comm ute 96 automatic put into reverse but doesnt move just revs

I suspect that changing the tranny oil will not solve your problem. At best when the pan is removed to change the oil filter you will probably find clutch parts in the sump. However having said that take it to a tranny shop and have the pressures tested before doing anything else

1990 Accord turns over always but sometimes wont start unless clutch is pumped???

Now that is spooky. The clutch would have no connection to the engine starting, only cranking.
Its possible the fuel pump relay is failing and for some reason either waiting or the vibration of pumping the clutch is getting it to work.
The relay should be under the dash near the pedals.
I would check fuel pump voltage when it fails to start.

The engine shakes bad when starting and running

There could be a number of reasons for this. If one of your cylinders is not firing it will shudder on tickover and as the engine speed rises it will smooth out. Have your spark plug leads been connected up in the right order. The clutch plate could have been distorted when the engine was fitted or the clutch plate could be contaminated with oil or both. If the problem just started when the new engine was fitted this could be the answer. Another possibility is that your engine mountings have failed or are soft.

Please save me from CLUTCH HELL

Have your mechanic ck for a possible issue with the pilot bearing. if the clutch linkage is indeed full travel, then the clutch should be "disengaged" and the only thing left is a pilot bearing (which should be replaced at every clutch replacement) or there is a problem with the disc. If clutches dont last 100k miles it either the driver or cheap parts.

My dad has a 1994 cavalier that will roll over but it will not fire at all. It was running fine until he removed the clutch and rebuilt it. Two different mechanics have looked at it but cannot find why it...

changed the clutch?? now is this an american cavalier ?? or a british vauxhall cavalier?? well the problem seems the same but the vehicle build is totally different.Without the offending vehicle in friont of me its difficult to get my ameba brain cell working ,but if the clutch was changed then the battery was disconnected and this could be the problem because in 1994 the opel astra went from being a normel key to a chipped key ,astra was europes equivilent of the cavalier and i have one thats how i know about the chipped key so assuming its a GM product then no doubt the ECU would be the same in all production regardless of where ?? .Now with the battery being disconnected this could cause it to have the immobiliser cut in ,it shouldnt but it can .Now you will read a current to the coil and the sensor but it will have the earth interupted so it will never start .put the old computer back on and try the spare key ?? if it still will not start then i think a breakdown truck to dealers to have it the key reprogrammed
