  • It's a tight fit for that third one. It takes some force but it just turns like the others, this one is just a bit harder. No secret just give it a stiff turn to the left.

If you want you can remove the screws/bolts holding the assembly on and pull the whole light assembly out and this will give easier, but not necessary.

How to replace a front side marker bulb on a 2007 Toyota Yaris Sedan

You don't need a dealer for much of anything

All of todays vehicles require removing the lamp
assembly or housings, front or rear, of any vehicle,to
take out the lamps/bulbs

If you open the hood you will find screws that hold it in place

May not be an easy job, but that's the junk were sold

Do you have illustrations or instructions showing how to replace the license plate light bulbs for the 2003 Toyota Corolla. Thanks.

there should be 2 screws that hold the light lens in place, that you take out to get to the bulbs, once the lens is removed.if the lights are in the trunk tailgate and there is no screws then with the trunk lid open and you look inside above the area the lights you should see the bulb sockets that you turn a 1/4 turn to remove the socket to replace the bulbs.

  • Turn the engine off and approach the side of the porsch with the burn-out side-marker light. If you are replacing both, start at either side; the replacement procedure is the same.
  • 2 Remove the screws from the plastic fender liner. Peel back the liner to access the area behind the fender.
  • 3 Reach your hand inside to gain access to the side-marker light's backing. Push the backing forward to release the side-marker lens; it's held in place by small clips.
  • 4 Grab the lens on the outer side and turn it over to access the back. Gently turn the bulb to release it from the plastic lens.
  • 5 Pull the bulb straight out to remove it from the electrical socket. Insert a new bulb, but do not touch the glass part of the bulb with your hand.
  • 6 Push the new bulb into the side-marker lens. Turn it clockwise to install it. Push the side-marker lens back into place. Apply gentle pressure to the lens to pop it back into its mount.
  • 7 Replace the screws along the edge of the fender liner.

How to change side marker bulb in 1997 altima

    a53bade.gif

The marker lights are removed by depressing the tab (arrow) with a thin bladed tool. Take care not to scratch the paint

    1. Disengage the bulb and socket assembly from the lens housing.
    2. Gently grasp the light bulb and pull it straight out of the socket.
    To install:
    1. Before installing the light bulb into the socket, ensure that all electrical contact surfaces are free of corrosion or dirt.
    2. Line up the base of the light bulb with the socket, then insert the light bulb into the socket until it is fully seated.
    3. To ensure that the replacement bulb functions properly, activate the applicable switch to illuminate the bulb which was just replaced. If the replacement light bulb does not illuminate, either it too is faulty or there is a problem in the bulb circuit or switch. Correct as necessary.
    4. Install the socket and bulb assembly into the lens housing.

How to replace Marker lamp in 1999 Toyota Corolla

Open the hood. Observe the area above the right headlamp, close to the fender. You will see a phillips screw that holds a plastic tab. Remove the phillips screw. After removing the screw, pull the marker lamp assembly towards you. It may be real tight, if it has never been removed before. You need to pull the light assembly out of 2 retention sockets behind the marker lamp. Rotate the bulb socket to get to the bulb, replace the bulb, & slide it back in.Easy job.
