This procedure can be a bit hairy if you are trying to run back and forth between your car and a computer. Pick up a Haynes manual for your car -- it has all of the information you are looking for to replace your starter and also includes some pictures and diagrams to make sure you are only touching the right nuts and bolts. Haynes manuals also have a lot of nice tips and tricks that the professionals who wrote it use to make their jobs easier and safer. If you are doing your own car repairs, a Haynes manual is a MUST They are available at most major auto-parts stores and some larger bookstores, and are written based on a complete tear down and rebuild of the same make and model as your vehicle, so all of the information comes from first-hand accounts of doing the work you need to do. Plus, once you have it, you can use it for ANY part on the car, so it is a wise investment for the home mechanic. I have not been without one for any car I have owned in almost 15 years. Good luck!

Here's a pic of my Haynes manual, so you know what to look for on the shelf -- just match it to your make and model.

How much does it cost to replace window blade holder for 2000 dodge intriped 2.7

If you mean the wiper ATM that the wiper blade attaches to, the arm itself hoes for $5-$20 at a junk yard, $30-$50 online and almost double that at a dealer. Installation prices will vary depending on the shops hourly rate.

disconnect from the negative battery terninal. locate the starter from underneath. should be front and center. remove the nut holding the large cable on, and the one holding the smaller wire. remove the 3 bolts holding it onto the engine. replace with new one, finger tighten the 3 bolts first, then wrench tighten the bolts. attache the large cable and nut, then the smaller one. replace the battery cable, and try it out.

How do I replace the starter on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid?

Before changing a starter, you need to do some testing. First, check that your battery is holding 12v or better. Next, check that there is 12v at the main connection on the starter. Then chjeck that with the key turned to "start" there is 12v at the small terminal on the starter. If not, check the relay that operates the starter.(it may be bad). If readings are good, and block ground and positive cable is connected and clean, replace starter.
To remove starter, disconnect positive cable from battery, unbolt starter, remove harness. Sometimes removal involves twisting unit and manuvering around stuff that's in the way. If you find that does not work, then remove whatever is keeping it from coming out. Yes: it comes out from underneath. (unless you see an obvious clear path to remove from above there is no set rule, just do what's easier) Replacement is the opposite of removal...no tricks. If your radio has an anti theft code, know it before you start or after you are finished it won't work. You will loose settings though.
good luck

I would like a dodge expert to help me with this problem

If the engine is a 2.7L. What is most likely wrong is his. The engine out of the 2001 has a different timing gear on the left cylinder head then the one on the 1998. In 1998 the engine computer is a SBEC controler(single board engine controler) an the 2001 is a NGC controler(next generation controler) the timing windows on those gears are in different positions. The controler doesnt know where the timing is.
