I think you need to do a valve job to your car, milky oil is a sign of coolant mixed with your engine oil.good luck.

2003 explorer whit 4.0 lt have oil in radiator and coolant in oil pressuretested oil cooler has good compression runs good dos not overheat no misfire

sounds like a blown head gasket. Pull plugs and see if a couple are very clean due to moisture burning in cylinder.

if what is in the coolant jug looks like sludge then it is the coolant breaking down, this car used GM DEXCOOL and it will cause this problem 9of a sludgy looking deposit in the coolant recovery tank, clean it out and drain and refill system

2000 catera oil is geting in the cooling

If a mechanic putting the coolant back in after arepair didn't do it then the oil cooler connection in the raditor can fail but the head gasket can be leaking too. Check for coolant in the motor oil tooas his will tell about the head gasket. The oil isundermorepresure than the coolant except then the car is shut off after fully warmed. No coolant in the engine oil. Flush the cooling system real good and install just water run the car and look for oil again if it's clean then put new coolant in it and don't ley the last person to work on it since this happened to work on it any more as someone could have added oil to the coolant not knowing about cars well enough or trying to cause problems on purpose.

HAve a 1996 Ford explorer v-8 that is overheating,

With cool engine... open radiator cap and look inside radiator. Do you see lots of sediment and calcium growth on radiater tubes? If yes, a coring may be needed. If only slightly bad, a radiator flush may be needed... then refill with 50 percent antifreeze.

Good thermostat, cleaned cooling system, non-leaking water pump, good water flow via water pump... nothing else left (unless you put the thermostate in backwards)..

There is heavy oil sludge in the coolant but it shows no coolant in the oil. I removed the thermostat and flushed out the cooling system for over an hour to clean it out. In nless than 1500 miles it is...

I have the same problem with a renault kangoo diesel , black thick oil in coolant --nice clean oil in motor , you have an oil cooler leaking oil into the cooling system , replace the oil cooler , I have not been able to get the black sludge out of the coolant internal parts , heater is blocked too , I thought of using kerosene to break down the sludge , but worry it might damage the hoses and they are not cheap, good luck

Oil in the radiator overflow reservoir

either a leaky head gasket or someone put oil in the overflow, it happens, clean it out drain the coolant from the entire system and refill with new long life antifreeze, also add a can of good radiator sealer.
