Not as far as I know, but I heard that you can use the V.I.N.# to get a new set of keys at a dealership, or other place. This is why my driving instructor recommends covering the visible V.I.N so a thief cannot do so. Hope this leads to a solution.

I,ve lost my keys for my 98 ford escort wagon the manual says its key coded and i don't have a master key what are my options

I assume that you have already checked inside the owners manual package for the code, or a key tag.

A Ford Dealership should be able to help you. They will want specific information about the car and you will have to provide proof of ownership of the car.

This will probably cost $300-$400. Making a spare key before you lose them is always much cheaper.

Keyless entry code lost, where is computer module with taped on code?

Have to go to a dealer with your Tittle to prove you own the truck
Also registration, licence, etc as well as VIN#

The dealer will give you the factory code that comes on a card
with the owners manual ( one time only)

Have them write down how to use, as well as change the key pad
entry code, should you choice to do so

To buy an owners manual & you need one to look up fuses & lamps/
bulbs for ALL your vehicles

Lost the key i take knew one the car fail to start

Your previous key may have had a chip in it. If this is the case you will have to go to the dealer. Also check your owners manual if it has the key code for your key.

Lost ignition key to my truck.Any way to get a new key?

Check your owner's manual. Many dealers will write the key code inside the back cover as an example for just such a situation. Get the key code and any locksmith should be able to make a new key.

If it's not in the owner's manual, try contacting the dealership that originally sold the truck and they may have the code in their file for the truck.

Need ignition key code lost keys in my house fire burnt to the ground cnt find the spares

key code is on metal tag or plastic tag in glove box with owner manual packet. Also, dealer who sold car new has code in sales folder.
ALso, call Ford Customer service. They may have it. Kind of old though, but try.

Lost keys to car, need key codes to get a new one.

also, you should have some metal tags or plastic card with the codes in your owner manual packet package. Dealer can cut keys with codes. But, if you have antitheft, you will need to program those keys before they will work.

NEED REPLACEMENT KEY FOR 2004 ODYSSEY HONDA VAN???

According to the owner's manual, the vehicle came with a "key number tag." If you have the tag, or the number off the tag, you should be able to purchase a replacement key from a dealer or locksmith.

Before you go replacing the ignition (and the previous poster didn't mention it, but what about the door locks?) I would check your owner's manual. The original owner may have written the key code in the book!

Also, look around the car. Maybe the tag is stuck in the glovebox!

Do you have any of the papers you received when you bough tthe car (even if used)? Maybe the code is written on something?

Good luck!
