In the fuse panel on the left side of the steering column but you may want to check the fuse first. It is under the bonnet near the firewall.

Hi can you help i have a vw golf gttdi on an 02 plate ive tried everything to get the brakes working but still when i turn the engine on they go soft


they will go soft a bit when engine runs as the servo is applying a lot more pressure its normal ,make sure you have removed the rear brake drums and adjusted the back brakes up manually and the pedal will go hard and the handbrake will tighten up as well

with ignition off, press and hold trip meter reset button. turn on ignition. service will appear on display, release button and then turn clock setting button to the right to reset display.

My glow plugs are not working... they all read 1ohm and so are good as new and there is no power to the rail. I have checked the fuses inside the car and all seem good. Is there another location for the...


Golfs have a 'Heater' fuse which is a metal strip labeled 55 or 80 amps located under a clear plastic cover. There is also a glow plug relay in the fuse block but that would not turn on the glow indicator if it died.
