Question about 2002 Saturn L-Series

1 Answer

The windshield wiper fuse keeps blowing on my 2002 Saturn L Series. The first time it blew I checked the owner's manual. It described the look of the fuse - neutral 25A. That is what I replaced it with however the one that was already in there was a RED 25A. Initially the fuses kept blowing after 15 minutes or so of use. Now they won't work at all. What gives? Should the fuse be a RED 25A?

It does not matter the color of the fuse as long as it is a 25 amp fuse. I would suspect the wiper motor is defective.

Where is fuse for wiper fluid pump on a 2003 cavalier?

It can be faulty wiper motor or blown wiper control fuse.

Do you hear any kind of noise when you starter the wiper function. If yes then fuse is ok, but issue is wiper motor.

If no movement at all and no noise then its blown fuse or shorted/loose wiper control wiring:-----

Windshield wiper fuse keeps blowing

Since you Disconnect the motor also renewed the switch and is still blowing the fuse ,it is obvious that you have either broken wire between the switch and the motor. Try to test the failure by means of a tester circuit. Good Luck.

Windshield wiper don't work. Could it be a fuse??? Which one is it!!

Without the engine running, turn wipers on and listen for any motor running. If you don't hear any noise, then check in your owners manual for the location of the fuse. If you do hear a noise, but no wipers, it could be that the wiper arm has come loose under the cover that is over you wiper blades.

Windshield wiper not working. i beleave its the fuse.wich one is it?

Look in owners manual it will tell you where to find it. If the fuse did blow you should reall try to determine why it blew. If you can't come up with anything and the symptom reoccurs come back and I'll get you threw it.
