It could be a leaking head gasket, rotted out radiator fins or a water pump impeller problem.

hmmm.. how can i check if that is the problem?

To check the head gasket, does the engine miss when first started in the morning. This could indicate coolant on a spark plug. Another check would be a compression test. Another test would be to remove the water pump belt, remove the thermostat, fill the cooling system up till fluid comes out of the thermostat housing then start the engine and accelerate a couple of times. A leak would force water out quickly. Don't let the engine run more than a few seconds.

Rotted radiator fins can be checked visually or by rubbing your hand lightly across the fins. Rotted fins will separate from the tubes easily.

The impeller can be checked by squeezing the upper rad hose off by hand and accelerating the engine. The flow can be felt.

I have an overheating problem.... i have a mitsubishi galant 1995, why is it that i need to refill the coolant container every other day or my car will overheat? is this normal? how can i repair it?

if there is no water dropping underside the car then it is the radiator pressure cap who is releasing the coolant out in form of vapor replace the cap but first check the coolant color if it is turn into milky color then it is the cylinder head gasket

1995 gallant died while i was driving...

Replace the fuel filter it is most likely clogged, I would also get a fuel system maintance done also most garages charge about $50-$75 be sure to get it done.

The galant will overheat if ac is not on

The temperature sensor for the radiator cooling fan is probably bad. When you turn the AC on, it overrides the sensor and the fan runs all the time while the AC compressor is engaged.
