Check your struts and springs in the front end. It would appear you have lost at least one strut, and maybe a spring.

I have a 96 GMC Sierra Z71 and it shakes on and off like your going over multiple speed humps. What can cause this?

It could be several different things. If it does it only when applying the brakes I would say that your brakes rotors and drums need to be turned on a brake lathe. Other things to check are the tires either being out of balance or damaged. You may have a bent or damaged wheel. Check your front CV joints and axles. Check front wheel bearings. Check for slack in your pitman and idler arms. Check the ujoints and carrier bearing on your rear driveline.

Brakesa are jumping when brakes are applied

i do believe you mean the service brakes, and when pushing the brake pedal the truck shakes?

Pad transfer will cause uneven brake discs with humps on em. Every time you then step on the brake pedal you'll feel the pads going over the humps, causing the shakes.

The best way to get rid of this is to replace the disc brakes with new discs.
Remember to change the pads too.

I have a 200 buick century the problem is its shake from the back wheels when i hump speed braker or un even roads

You most likely need new back struts (shocks). If you push down on the bumper several times the car should not bounce by itself, the shocks slow down the action of the springs.

If you need more help, post a comment and I will get back to you.

Check your tires for abnormal wear, out of balance, maybe alloy rim out of roundness.
