When you remove the clipers you have to get very agressive with them to pry them loose. When installing the new pads, you first must compress the hydraulic cylinder that compresses the brakes when you step on the pedal by using a C clamp to squeeze the round-shaped cylinder back as far as it will go. You may experience some overflow from your brake master cylinder (refill container on the top aft of your enginee compartment) because you are removing volume from the system by compressing the cylinder. Replace the pads, then when you rassemble it will easilly fit over the rotors. Otherwise it will not go back together. Also, watch out when reinstalling the pins (the ones that hold the calipers on). They can be cross-threaded easily and you don't want that to happen. You'll know you have them cross-threaded if you have to tighten them too hard. STOP! and back them out and look carefully at the angle of the pins as you thread them in. They should not be too hard to turn. It is also a good idea to lubricate the caliper pins with grease made especially for this purpose (check with your parts store). DO NOT get grease on the surface of the pads or rotors. Brake parts cleaner spray is handy to have to clean eveything after it is assembled together. Tighten all bolts and pins A LOT! They can come out if you don't tighten them pretty well. I just accessed mine. It is under the rear seat. You just lift up on the seat, and it pops right out. If you are having problems with the rear defroster, it could very likely be the control module. This is a combination module which the rear antenna, and the defroster grid plugs in to.
When mine went out I smelled a "burnt wire" smell, then it went out.
To access the module, sit in the back seat, drivers side. There is a trim panel that will be by your left ear as you are looking forward. It is the panel that flares down from the ceiling to the rear deck. Gently pull at the edge of this panel, working around the edges, and the small strip which continues over the top of the door.
The seatbelt goes through this panel, so it will be hanging from the seatbelt at this point. There is a ~3" square, black module with the defroster input and output wires, and the antenna wire plugged into it.
You just unplug the wires, pull the one mounting screw, and voila!
On mine the module was obviously melted, as was the wire going into it. I got the replacement from a salvage yard, as the new one was over $50, and the replacement wire was $18. The salvage yard was unable to look it up, so I had to go out to the yard with them and pull it myself. The final cost was $17 (they tried to charge me $40, and I told them I could get it online for that, and they dropped the price).
You can use a crimp on **** connector to put in the replacement wire, but because of the heat in that area I chose to solder the wires together.
BTW, this module fits a wide range of Buicks, and full size Olds.

first you put the car on stands and and then you take the two bolts out in back of the caliper and remove the caliper and then remove the pin in the center of the rotor and the nut and then take the rotor off and do not forget to repack the bearing with grease and then put it back together take one side apart at a time.just in case you need to take a look at how it goes back together

there is a special tool for this job but I have cheated on this but you ned to be careful when doing this.The wishbone shaped mount on the front going from motor to front of vehicle, remove and it allows the motor to tilt.
