It could be one of 2 things. Frist see if there are any codes stored in the computer. You proable have bad cam sensors. they are located oin the back of each cylinder head. therre is no way to testthem. You will just have to trust me. I am 90% sure that is what it is.

Is there an inside access panel for 1999 Nissan quest fuel pump

Replace the fuel pump relay first(it is cheaper than the pump) If it is still starving for fuel, change the pump. Its a 1999 and it is probably time (Age). If you get it running add 1 can of B&G44K to fuel, to condition Injectors. It is only available through dealerships (11.00 a can at Toyota) do not substitute, it is the best on the market. Do the B&G every 30,000 miles with a fuel filter change for continued performance. Perform an ODBII scan for any other problems, to avoid buying parts you don't need.

Why is it hard to start

You may have a fuel pressure bleed down situation, this is caused by a defective fuel pump check valve, the valve is part of the fuel pump which is located inside the fuel tank. To confirm this have a shop hook up a special test gauge and check to see if the pump loses pressure after the engine is turned off.

1999 Nissan Quest GXE turns over but dies out when I push the gas. What is the problem?

Have the fuel pressure tested to see if the fuel pump is the problem.

1998 nissan quest service engine light will flash three times and then just stay on while im driving

run the fault codes to find the sensor that is putting the light on and replace/repair the faulty unit. It is simply very false economy to run tanks empty as the fuel pumps need fuel to lubricate the gears and if that is intermittent of not there that plastic gears fail and pumps are not cheap.

Nissan van stalls when starting

Turn the the key to run position with cas cap off listen for fuel pump to buzz 3-5 seconds fuel pump keeps system pressurised when off or pressurises quickly when you try to start it. it is very commom for ground wire at the pump to fail with poor connection. When changing these pumps I often disreguard the original connections and carefully solder wire directly to the pump. to be sure you should use a inline fuel guage to test the fuel system accurately

05 Nissan Quest sputtering when breaking and service engine light came on

Have the fuel pressure tested to see if your pump is still performing at optimum. The test takes about 20 minutes, and will confirm if the pump and pressure regulator are doing their job.

'95 nissan quest stalled at a stop. Will not start, only cranks

I worked on a '93 Quest last year. Couldn't find out why it wouldn't start. It was the distributor shaft not held onto its rotating gear. The roll pin had come out of the gear on the end of the distributor shaft. When the distributor cap was off, the rotor was turning with the shaft while the engine was cranking. So I thought that was okay. But when I put my finger on the rotor and it stopped turning, that is when I found out the problem. It's a stretch, but maybe the techs missed it. Take the cap off, and if you can spin the rotor either way just by hand, the distributor gear has come loose.

Looks like they really covered a lot. I suppose next they will you to replace the ecu. Good luck.
