Chrysler vehicles are notorious for the blower motor resistor going out. If your Town & Country has automatic climate control use a SMP RU399, else use an SMP RU362 for the front resistor and a SMP RU490 for the rear. They are generally located on top of the blower motor/wheel assemblies.

What needs replacing when my blower motor only works in the 2nd and 3rd position on my 2005 Chrysler town and country?

You would need to perform the diagnostics to pin down the cause. It could be the dash switch or burned wiring connector to the switch.

Why does my heater motor stays on controls don't work 94 chrysler?

sounds like you have a blower motor resistor that has gone bad. these systems are set up(wired) that the blower will either not work, caused by the main resistor wire is broken, or will only run on high. you don`t say exactly what is your problem. it could also be a bad switch that has gone bad and won`t shut off(always in the run position) due to a short.

I just replaced the actuator on my 2000 Chrysler Concorde LXI and my heater still isn't working. Any other idea's?

If its not blowing air then you may want to try a new blower motor if it is blowing air then you probably need a new thermostat

Climate control system has been working on and off for the past few months. It used to always work when the ignition was in the "on position." But when you start the car, it didn't work. Now...

All signs are pointing to the electrical portion of the ignition switch AND / OR the wiring connection.

The electric switch is located directly behind the key switch (under the steering wheel).

I recommend you to remove the battery cable first to prevent accidental air bag deployment.

Inspect the connector for damage or wire(s) got pull out of the socket,

My blower only works 1 through 4 and will not work on the highest position number 5

{: ) Check out the J-case fuse (square) labeled BLWR 40amps at the underhood fuseblock. This fuse is the source of power to the blower motor when position 5(max speed) is selected. If this fuse is tested to be okay, you need to access for the blower resistor connectors. Turn ignition on, and set blower to max speed (#5). Probe on the blower resistor terminal (orange wire) and you should get 12volts, also probe the terminal (red wire) which came from the 40amp fuse. 12v should be present on these two terminals at the blower resistor when at max blower speed. Particularly on the orange wire, if you don't get 12volts when at #5 position, it 's probable that the blower speed control switch is faulty. But if you did got 12volts during the procedure, then you should replace the blower motor resistor. Goodluck.

The #4 position of the ac/heater blower fan switch does not work could it be resistor or switch"how do you replace part?

this would be caused by the switch, the resistor gives you one speed and that would be high which is #4
