Question about 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer
The SRS (Secondary Restrain System) should not be effected by a simple replacement of the 12 volt battery. The Air Bags are on a completely different system and should be trouble shot by someone who know what they are doing.
PEOPLE have had their necks broken or killed by airbags and you need to be careful with what you are doing and if you do not have the experience in handling this system, you are putting yourself in harms way.
Take it to a shop and ask them to READ and CLEAR the lights with a scanner and not manually.
