What is the location of the thermostat on a 2006 sebring

follow the large radiator hose from the radiator to the engine, you'll see a large clamp holding the hose onto the neck thats bolted to the engine block, under the neck is where your thermostat is located

How to change thermostat in 04 sebring

You're going to lose some coolant, so have a bucket or other container, and some fresh coolant, ready. Follow the upper radiator hose to the point where it's connected to the engine. The hose is clamped to a metal housing (water inlet) which is bolted to the engine. Remove the bolts (not the hose) and lift the housing to expose the thermostat (may require a little prying with a screwdriver or similar tool). Note how the old thermostat is fitted (which end is up), lift it out of the engine, and then remove all traces of gasket from the housing and the engine. Install the new thermostat and gasket, replace the bolts, add coolant as necessary, and you're done.

Location of 2001 2.7L v6 chrysler sebring thermostat location

Follow the TOP hose on your radiator to where it connects on your engine block. The thermostat is under the metal piece mounted to the block which the hose is connected to. It typically has to bolts to remove and you will find the thermostat under it once you remove the mounting.

Over heating

Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. You'll see it clamp to part of the engine that has a few bolts in it. This metal part is the thermostat housing and is where your thermostat is. When replacing, make sure that you get the thermostat in correctly (spring side going into the engine). The thermostat is not perfectly round, and it will aide in alignment if you purchase a thermostat with a jiggle valve. The jiggle valve should be oriented near the top of the thermostat and you need to make sure you have it cocked so that it fits flush in the housing (the routed area is not perfectly round either, you'll have to spin it slightly until you find the best seat).
