How far down did it break? Is there enough space to reach down with a NARROW NEEDLE NOSE Pliers and grab the tip? If this is not possible, then is the Tube External or Internal? If it is a Bolt on Tube, then you can unbolt the tube, lift up and it is held in place with an O-Ring. Make sure you do not damage the O-Ring upon re-insertion. If it is Broke too far down, an Internal Tube, and can not reach with a Narrow Needle Nose pliers, then you have to start tearing down from the Top in order to gain access to grab a piece.

If your question is buying a replacement, go to this link and you can buy brand new one cheap:

http://www.newpontiacparts.com/seccat/vibe-813/2003/dipstick-30472/3/30472/

If your question is how to remove and replace a broken dipstick, have the oil pan pulled and have the broken piece pulled from the bottom of the pan. Then go to the above address and buy a new one. That is the most efficient and cheapest way to go.

I am getting scanner codes of P0351 and P0352 for problems with a 2006 Pontiac Vibe, secondary ignition system, how can I fix the potential problems?

The scanner codes will be listed in a booklet of codes for the Pontiac Vibe. Once you know what the codes mean, you replace those parts.

How many quarts of transmission fluid does the Pontiac vibe hold

The 2006 Pontiac Vibe will have a little bit different amount of transmission fluid needed depending on whether or not it has All-Wheel-Drive. With AWD it will need 3.1 quarts (2.9 liters). Without AWD it needs 3.2 quarts (3.0 liters).

Can you drain torque converter when changing transmission fluid on a 2004 pontiac vibe

Basicly just remove the bolts in the transmission oil pan, make sure you have a drain pan under it and leave a couple bolts in, loosen the remining bolts and let the oil drain then loosen and remove them slowly as oil will be draining out while you are doing it.

Change the filter and after cleaning the pan install a new gasket and put it back on. Do not tighten the bolts too tight because it will distort the gasket and it will leak.

Pour about 5 quarts of transmission fluid in the trannsmission and start it up, look for leaks, and finish filling it to the cold line on the dip stick. If there are no leaks run until its warmed up and make sure the fluid level is at the full hot line on the stick.

There is really no way to drain the converter.

Tried to check oil level on 2006 pontiac vibe. Took out dipstick and tube broke from block.

Was it just the mounting tab that broke? If so you can take it to a welding shop and have them weld it back on.
