Now you have what I will call a very RARE time
when you can check for a blown fuse

It won't fix anything, but if it is & blows again
you know one of your window motors is overloading
the entire sytem.
Bad motor or stuck somehow.

Also some vehicles (most) have a
Delay Accy Module that times out after you open
the door. Radio goes off, windows go to sleep etc.

Don't know where that is

Olds aurora 1999 all four power windows quit working at one time. power sunroof still works.

Then you have two possibilities. First, most likely. Wires have broken. Open the drivers door and at the front you will see a rubber boot from the frame to the door. This is where the wires like to break. Second would be the master switch failed. I have replaced one or two(in 30 years) that the switch completely died. Usually just one or two windows quit working.

All four side windows half way down 2007 Acura TSX on a cold morning

Hi, your description is somewhat brief. If you are operating all windows at the same time, they will be very sluggish due to the cold weather.

Park the car in a warm location, power all the windows down, lube all the window channels / runners with a SILICONE type of lube. Ensure that the lube coats the complete channel. Operate the windows a few times, they should be silent and activate well. The lube will prevent the window glass from sticking in the channel /track due to the cold.

Good luck.

All power window motors burned out at same time. why?

I would seek a common element to all four switches and motors, such as a fuse or relay. Very unlikely that four separate window regulators died together. Find your fuse box, look in the manual, and locate the fuse for the windows. If it is not burned out, I would get a voltmeter and check to see if there is 12 volts on the power side of the fuse socket, if there is power when the ignition switch is on, then the circuit is good to that point and you need to chase down an open in the circuitry between the fuse and the windows. A likely place is in the master shut offl. Usually the driver has the ability to prevent the other windows from being operated and that switch or the connection to it, could be your problem.

2005 Pontiac Grand Prix power window switch

Disconnect the wire connector at the driver's window motor and install a test light or meter at the connector then operate the switch and see if the light or meter indicate proper function of the switch. If function is correct then the window motor/regulator is probably failed.

Driver side power window does not work

There are generally four (4) causes of your power window's failure to operate, and they include the malfunctioning of the following parts: the fuse or relay, the regulator, window motor, or, alternatively, the window is just jammed or obstructed (if you hear the motor is working). All of this is explained quite well in a handy, diagnostic article offered by at this link: Good luck! Brad
