Question about 2005 Dodge Magnum
Could be several possibilities...First, check the voltage on the battery...at engine off, it should read around 12.50 Volt DC....any lower and you won't get start....if battery voltage is ok then you will need to check the connections...bad connections on the battery can cause the no start condition(but allow the lights to come on as they don't draw as much power as a starter)...if you are in doubt as to the condition of the connections, then you can remove each battery cable and clean each cable and post and reconnect....if connections are ok then you may need to remove the starter and take it to the auto parts store and have it tested to see if it is defective
