There are a number of steps to be done. I took some snapshots from my service manual of the instructions for you. On the bumper removal you will really only need to go to step 7 and on the fender protector you should only need to remove the J clips in the "A" position. If you do have any other questions such as needing some specs or anymore diagrams, feel free to email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with them. I don't mind helping if I have it but be detailed so i am sure to send you the correct information. I hope this helps and good luck. By the way, I couldn't make the pictures any bigger because I can only post picture 150KB or smaller on here (fixya.com) and this is as big as I could make them without going over.

I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7L engine. Air conditioning only blows cold air when vehicle is moving; warm air when idling... please help. Thanks!

Start by checking the condensor fan to make sure it is running while you have the ac on. If it is not blowing check the condensor fan motor fuse that is located in the totally integrated power module. If the fuse is bad it is most likely that the condensor fan motor is bad and is drawing too much amperage and will need to be replaced. Now I am assuming it has an electric condensor fan motor. Make sure that the condensor is free of debris, a dirty condensor will cause high discharge pressures that will cause poor or insufficient cooling at idle.

I have a 2006 Pontiac Vibe. The AC went out. When I took it to a repair shop, the guy told me that it looked like debris was puncturing the condensor. After 1 hot summer and spending $600 to replace the...

My experience with A/C Condensors is that you can take it to a Radiator Shop that welds aluminum and they can repair it by welding the hole closed. I had it done twice on my truck's condensor and it works great. To try and resolve the problem you can put some fine mesh screen in front of the condensor to keep debris from puncturing it.

Trying to replace rad in 2006 exployer.Have every bolt off but the rad wont come out.Help

There are two bolts that hold the a/c condensor to the radiator. then you have to lift the condensor off the radiator it has hooks on the condensor one on each side.

My car keeps getting almost to the red in the temp gauge and the thermostat was already replaced I dont know what else to do

Most common problem is debris build up on the radiator front, or debris build up on the AC condensor causing no or little air flow through the radiator and AC condensor. The radiator and AC condensor must have good air flow to keep everything cool, debris on the AC condensor will cause your AC temp to be high even with a proper AC charge. If there is no debris on the radiator or AC condensor and there is no white smoke coming out of the tailpipe and no loss of coolant, I would suspect a stopped up radiator on the inside or a bad water pump, good luck, Gary

My rav4 was in an accident where a ball hitch from the car in front of me hit my bummer. It pushed the metal bar into the condensor and I now do not have any ac. How do I replace the condensor? Do I need...

I'm not positive about a Rav, but it's pretty typical to pull out the radiator, then condensor. Either way, it's going to be expensive. Maybe $500-800 with condensor and freon recharge, and it sounds like you could use a new bumper and lower radiator support. Are you sure you don't want to turn it in on insurance?

Replace condenser on 2000 s type jag

FIRST OF ALL YOU HAVE TO TAKE CAR TO DEALERSHIP SO THEY CAN DISCHARGE AND RECOVER THE REFRIGERANT.THEN YOU CAN TAKE CAR HOME REMOVE THE RADIATOR TOP SUPPORT THEN REMOVE CONDENSORS LINES THEN CONDENSOR.GO TO DEALERSHIP TO BUY CONDENSOR LINES ORINGS LUBRICATE WITH R134 REFRIGERANT OIL.PUT NEW CONDENSOR.TAKE IT TO A GARAGE LET THEM PUMP IT DOWN ALL MOISTURE OUT OF SYSTEM CHECK FOR LEAKS THEN CHARGE IT BACK UP THIS WOULD BE THE CHEAPER WAY.

The AC in my 2004 Honda Accord only blows cool air when I am driving at higher speeds. When I drive slow or am stopped, it's warm hair coming out. My mechanic said the compressor isn't working properly...

it is a premature failure, That does indicate a bad/failiing compressor, or low oil charge, to low freon. If you trust the mechanic then go witht he compressor replacement and condensor. Unfortunately most oarts stores/shops require the condesor to be replaced for warranty purposes on compressor replacements.

Air won't cool when the car is stopped on a 2004 chevy cavalier. car temp is normal

make sure electric coolant fan is running.if not check or replace fan relay.the coolant fan has to be running to cool down refrigerant in condensor.so refrigerant in condensor is cooled back down to high pressure liquid so it can go to evaporator.see ifcoolant fan not working.the AC is not going to cool.when you driving the condensor is cooling down from moving air when car is going.when you come to a stop.cooling fan suppose to be on so condensor gased can be cooled down.

My 2002 Impala has an A/C leak. The leak is on the driver's side around the top of the radiator but I'm unable to see the actual leak. Is this a condenser issue or possibly just an o-ring?

On my 2002 3800 V6 Impala the leak was at the bottom of the condensor on the drivers side. On mine the condensor connections were near the bottm driver's side. If you sure it's at the top, it's pretty certain to be the condensor.
I replaced my own. As I recall, the condensor was less than $100.
