SOURCE: 1992 dodge stealth valve adjustment

If the lifters [automotive repair industry term] or hydraulic lash adjusters [actual terminology], which are ment to maintain the correct distance between the valve train components is bleeding off oil within the adjuster, it must be replaced. The only thing that can be done is to replace them. I would suggest replaceing all 24 [dual overhead cam engine type], if you are in there doing that, you may as well replace the valve stem seals as well... and believe me, its alot of work, ive done it..

SOURCE: 92 Dodge stealth radiator coolong fan does not

Look for the obvious first. Blown Fuse, Burned Fan Relay.
To test, disconnect the Fan plug in, run 1 x Pos. and 1 x Neg. of 12 or 14 gauge wire from the Battery, directly to the Fan Motor, and it should energise.
The Sensor for the Fan is on the Engine. This is a 2 contact threaded switch, which is Normally open, and make circuit contact copletion when the cooling system heats up, energising the Fan Motor.
This Fan should also operate when the A/c is in operation also, independent of the Coolant side.
[eg] When setting off, from home on a Hot day, the A/c is on , long before the Engine heats up
Regards, DT

I have a 1991 dodge stealth dohc and removed th cas sensor with out marking the old one what is the proper way to install the new one.

Marking does not matter that much because you always need to reset the timing anyway.

Here is a link for crank and cam position sensor replacement:
http://www.stealth316.com/2-cas-91-92.htm

And here is one for timing:
http://www.stealth316.com/2-ignition-timing.htm
It is just like any distributor timing except that you have to ground the right test connector, otherwise the ECU will vary the timing based on things like temperature, knock, fuel, etc.

In a 1993 the crank and cam sensors are in the timing cover on the Dodge Stealth dohc 3.0. But on the 92 it's at the end of the cam gear. How can I make this swap?

i would think you could take out the cam plug and put the sensor in but the cam if i remember right has a metal pin like a dowel inserted in a hole drilled in the camshaft and that is what the sensor reads. if there is no pin or other tab on the other engine then you would have to swap the cam
