I assume your talking noid light for the injector.have you checked for battery voltage at the injector and for the ground side of the circuit at the injector as either one missing it won`t work.the injector is grounded by the computer and the power is supplied when the key is turned on.these are the two places to start to check.

I have a 1987 chevy pick up truck. There is no fuel coming out of the injectors. Cant figure out why

First, make absolutely sure the fuel pump is running when the key is on and is pushing fuel to the TBI. Take the feed line off the TBI if you have to. Watch it, fuel will spray everywhere if you aren't careful. Most fuel pump "no run" problems are caused by a bad ground. Use a VOM to check for power and ground.

Make sure the injectors receive power when the engine is cranking to start. Might be something as simple as a blown fuse. Can check with a noid light or 12v test light. Remote possibility of the injectors losing power when via the ignition switch and/or wiring when you crank the engine.

Fuel pressure regulator may be defective. TBI must be disassembled to replace it. There is a nice aftermarket adjustable regulator available.

Internal to the TBI itself (SOME, BUT NOT ALL HAD THIS) is a small neoprene pressure bleed. It has a VERY small hole in it, used to slowly bleed off the fuel pump pressure when the engine is shut down. If the diaphragm ruptured the fuel will return to the tank, never building enough pressure to spray out the injectors.

These units are relatively easy to rebuild. Youtube has several good vids walking you thru the process if you have any doubts.

Fuel tbi strting issue

Verify fuel pressure to the throttle body, if ok, then with the key on check for 12v at the injectors , if not , check fuses, if ok, check for injector pulse. disconnect injector connector , jump the two leads with a noid light or test light and have someone crank the engine, bulb should blink.

After you dump the fuel in the throttle body it will continue to run on its own or die as soon as it burns up all the fuel you dump in? Do you have access to (Noid lights)? Are both plugs attached to the distributor?

No fuel coming from injectors

If you have a noid light put it on the injector wires to see if you have an injector pulse while cranking. It sounds like you don't and i have a feeling the extra wire from the distributor is the reason. It might be the rpm signal to the ecm. If you can find the other end of that plug i think it might solve your problem.
