By bypassing the factory ignition, you have cut out a VERY important part of the trucks anti theft security system that you probably didnt even know was there. These system will turn off injectors to eliminate theft. Basically, your truck knows you hotwired it and aint going anywhere. This link explains the problem, and there is a way to bypass this security system on there too. You can beat this yourself. Check out this link.

2003 chevy s-10 wont even turn over? ran fine this afternoon. parked it, came out tonight, and it doesn't even crank over. Nothing!

You need to find someone who knows how to test the electrical circuits , check the battery , battery connections ! Do the headlamps light ? or they bright ? Does the dash light up when you turn the key on ? Without testing we would only be guessing , could be a lot of different thing's .The clicking sound is probably the starter relay . The starter could be bad , wiring problems , main battery feed cable to the starter . Testing is the only way of finding what's wrong, not guessing .
Starter Voltage Drop

Looking at a wiring diagram to see what all is involved for the starter to work . Free wiring diagrams here Enter vehicle info. Year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on starting . Click search button . then blue link . Does the vehicle have manual or automatic transmission ?
Do you know what a relay is and how it works ?
In this video he shows horn relay but the starter relay works the same way . Starter relay located in the under hood fuse box .
VEHICLE RELAYS Operation Diagnosis

Learning how it works then learning how to test electrical circuits is how we fix automotive electrical problems , not guessing an replacings parts .

2003 trailblazer has new battery, but will not crank but all dash lights come on

Check the starter, check the cable that goes from the battery to the starter. make sure its tight and not loose. take a hammer and tap on the starter. If the vehicle still doesn't start. Change the starter.

Hate to sound godly but have you removed the battery terminals and cleaned them also the earth or ground cable where it bolts to the chassis ,then to the engine although i suspect it could just be the battery terminal ,Now if you have had a new ignition lock fitted di they change the switch piece on the back of the steering lock ?? because iam surprissed that if you told them the complaint then they didnt check the obvious first or ensure that the job was done correctly or am i just old school who get a car for a light problem but i still check the rest of the car including oil ,washer antifreeze ect before i return the car

2003 trailblazer wont start. I turn the key and get one click.

Take care when following these tips.
The click is the starter relay but the starter is dead. If its the type with a solenoid riding on the outside try a jump lead straight on the terminal that has the battery lead on it.
If nothing and there is a second terminal closer to the starter body try that one. If the starter responds with a spin you will probably have to remove it, fit a replacement solenoid or another starter.
Tapping the starter only works if the solenoid is a bit dicky.

I have a 84 gmc jimmy. Starter went bad. Tried to jump the starter but didnt work. Replaced starter and it starts great. But now my headlights and dash lights dont work. Found a blown fuse, replaced fuse...

Go back under the truck and check to make sure all the fusible links at the starters battery post are hooked up and have continuity through them. I thank you left one off.

Passenger side windows, door locks, power mirror. on 2003 trailblazer dont work

The electrical functions on this car that you have mentioned are controlled by a module called the Body Control Module or BCM for short. Whenever a malfunction like this occurs you need to have the dealer or a well equipped shop hook up an electronic system scan tool, it will actively test the systems of the car and return fault codes indicating where to start the diagnosis of the electrical problem, in your case that can be the wiring to the door or the BCM is malfunctioning. I would be inclined to think the wiring is at fault here..

This may be the antitheft system starting to fail in your vehicle. Very common on GM vehicles. The key has a transponder in it that communicates with the ignition, and then the ignition passes that signal on to the TDM (theft deterrent module) which allows your starter to start, if any of these parts fail to communicate, the system shuts down and the starter wont roll over. This link explains the problem, lists symptoms, and offers some DO IT YOURSELF solutions to the problem.

Commando remote car starter

I would start with the bypass and work your way through the starter. Start by undoing all your trim panels around your steering column and dash bezels and drivers side kick panel. Then go from there. hope this gives you some direction.
