Question about Chevrolet Suburban
A year, make, model and engine size would help.
Most late model GM cars it will be the grey or larger grey wire that supplies power to the pump and the purple wire that supplies power to the level sensor.

buy a cheap test light/probe and use that at the fuel pump plug to check for power in that circuit. It could also be a relay thats at fault so check that for power in and power out, same test tool. There are not many wires at the pump plug but as long as only one has 12v its not a power supply problem.Does the car run at all?

I don't think its your fuel. Usualy we connected the kill switches to the ignition or power to the spark plugs. Just to make sure you can buy a can or 2 of brake clean thats what is call. you can buy it in autozone cragens or any autostore. When it does that problem that it doesn't want to start. remove the plastic hose that goes to your intake and spray a little while cranking(trying to start) if starts than your on the right track if it has no change you should start looking power for your spark plugs

The wires should be grey, orange and black, purple, and a black wire. The purple goes to purple, grey to gray. The orange and black goes to the small black wire on your car harness and the black goes to the bigger black.

It will be a gray wire larger than the others in the connector other than the ground wire which is black.
