Rear Passenger window won't roll up

The rear driver's side manual window won't roll up. Is there a way to take apart the regulator and fix it by respooling the cable?

No the only way to fix these wire regulators is replace them, they are fairly cheap, think about it, you pull the door panel, remove the regulator try to fix it and put it back, right away it fouls up, you have worked hard for nothing, replace it.

Soundls like your window motor went bad. Could also be window regulator or just a bad wiring conection. Take off door pannel and check the connections and the motor. Hope that helps

The power windows in the rear, first on the drivers side then the passenger side stoped working ( three months apart). The passenger rear has fallen inside the door, it initally sounded like it was trying...

in late 90s GM products the rear window regulators were prone to a cable break which mimics the problem you speak of. perhaps they never updated the technology. you will be better off to buy a new set of regulators, take them and the car to an auto glass shop and pay them to install them for you. get the parts from a parts store or ebay. these will be about 400 per side at a dealer and half that if you do it per my suggestion. would not hurt however to call a dealer and see if there was a recall on them.
taking these doors apart and replacing the regulators requires special tools and fasteners, while you can do it yourself it will be the best 50 bucks you ever spent paying someone with the tools and know how to do it for you.

Rear driver window will not roll up in my 2000

Acura had a service update for that problem, but your car is unfortunately out of warranty by time and needs the window regulator assy replaced. You can try and find used one but they all originally had problems and if you get used its 50/50 chance of it going bad also.Best bet is to buy updated part from you know update was for all four regulators.... so if one has gone may have issues with other three in future.

The rear window on my 1988 bronco won't roll up.

no way to do that, but u can disconnect the power wiondow regulator and block it up, but if u take it apart to do that u might as well fix the problem that is keeping it from rolling up.

Driver window will roll down but the passenger and rear wont

The first thing that I would do is check for electricty at the motors them sel and work your way back.If there is elec. at the window motor it's self susspect a motor problem.Remove the motor to see if it spins (but it dosen't me its good it could be week)next check for binding in the window mecanism.
