I had the same problem recently with a 2000 acura 3.2tl. I found the code on the bottom side of my hood. I read somewhere that it may be on the underside of the fuse box under the hood but it wasn't. There is a label on the underside of the hood just look for the 5 digit code that all the numbers are under 6 and that should be it, thats how mine was at least.

A radio code is only acessable through a dealer. you will need to contact your dealer they will need the make and model of your car plus the vin# to look up your specs for your car.

My 1999 acura radio is lock how do i get code?

Before you start, try opening the glove box and looking on the left side of it. To my surprise, I'm told that some time around 2000, Honda started putting a sticker with the code in the glove box (I guess someone thought radio thieves were too stupid to look there!!)

If it's not there, go to this Accura website:

https://radio-navicode.acura.com/

You will need to provide your VIN Number, Zip code, phone number and the serial number of the radio.

To figure out how you get your radio serial number, follow the instructions on this Honda site:
http://www.radio-code.com/Acura-Pay-Page-radio-code.htm

Also, what that site doesn't tell you is that if you have the non navigation model, you can simply pop out the dummy button between your fog light and rear defrost buttons with a small flat head screwdriver and with the help of a flashlight you should be able to see the serial number on the bottom of the deck through the hole.

93 acura legend radio battery went dead in car and now flashing security light how do i get radio to work again anim assuming it needs a code an how can i get code for free

I just bought my 3rd Acura Legend...but never encountered this problem. They removed my battery to place in another vehicle on the lot...and when they replaced my battery, the radio locked up and would not do anything. I called the Acura dealership in my area....have an appt for Monday, she said $51.00 to get code. I was reading on all the websites i could find about Acura radio codes...then i come accross one posting about an Acura Integra. It said her code was under her ashtray. I went out to my car...pulled my ashtray out. There was a white sticker with a 5 digit number first, and then an E number. I turned my radio on, entered 5 digit number...it BEEPED. I turned it off, and turned it back on...to the most WONDERFUL BOSE stereo system!! It worked ya'll!! I was so shocked!! It may not help everybody....but my Acura Legend 4Dr Sedan has MUSIC now!! So i thought i would pass it along...saved me FIFTY dollars!!

I have a 2000 acura intrega and the batt. went dead last night now the radio wont work its asking me for the code. what is the code?

I assume you are not original owner. If you have owners manual look in there see if code in there. This is like this so someone can;t steal your radio and use it in another car.

Radio Code for 2000 Acura Integra

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

Acura Radio Code

I had the same problem with my car (regarding the radio code) Well buddy, unfortunately each car radio has a different code, and in order to get the code, you must first remove the center console where you shifter is. There are 4 clips that hold that console in place ( 2 located on each side of the console) Your gonna have to remove the console then take a peak under the radio, you should be able to see a serial number located at the bottom of the radio itself, no need to remove it either cause it's a pain in the ***!!! Write down the number, and call a local Acura dealer with the serial number and "POLITELY" ask for the radio code. Some dealers might be reluctant to give you the code, so if you hit a bump in the road, just keep calling other dealers til you get someone who'll gladly give you the code!!!

Need radio code for 99 acura

Here you go...In the car, you should have a dead plastic button under the radio. I believe its inbetween the fog lights and rear window heater. You can pull that plastic cover off. This will expose the wiring in your radio. Get a flashlight and search around in there. You should be able to see the radios serial number (The number has letter and numbers in it). From there, I would go to www.hondatech.com and get someone to (who works a dealership) to get the code for you. There are always people there to get the codes, just look for the Post regarding radio codes. Good Luck. That will save your $75 from the dealer.
