Question about GMC Acadia
Sounds as if the hood sensor is loose/hood itself has loose bolts- check all mounting points near hinges- try and find the plunger switch for you alarm and see if it is loose or needs to be adjusted.
sound as if after you engine compartment cools off after driving the hood is shifting enough to trip the alarm
