When it kicks on and off that means the unit is low on freon. You will need to have it recharged up with freon for the AC

Testimonial: "Thank you! Knew it wasn't the compressor, thought it might be the blower. Recharging freon in the morning. Your help is very appreciated."

99 Buick LeSabre A/C control problem

That may be tough to fix. My first thought is the control panel, but it could be the hvac programmer or even the body computer.
Do you have controls on the steering wheel, and can you change temp from there ?
Its probably going to take a shop that deals with electronics and a shop manual to get all of the diagrams.
You could switch out the control on the dash with a used part as a test.

2004 Buick LaSaber w/Automatic Temp control, blower motor just quit, won't run at any speed, all fuses are OK. I'm thinking bad motor?

With Auto Temp---you first need to use professional
scanner, to look at Body Module Data & continue from
there,it helps to have factory trouble charts to use &
not guess, as I'm afraid some shops still do

What causes intermittent A/C on a 2000 Nissan Altima 4 cyl?

Your A/C is low on freon when you are A/C mode the compressor goes on and off with the low pressure switch. Auto parts stores carry recharge kits for most all cars/trucks. follow instructions on can for charging

2003 ford escape fans do not run in till the a/c is turned on.

There are four relays for the cooling fans .low speed control , medium speed , high speed fan control relay 2 , high speed fan control relay 1, there is also a engine cooling fan resistor .The engine coolant temp. sensor would most likely cause the check engine light to be on . There is also a dual pressure switch , this is for the A/C . The cooling fans will be turned on at 213 degress low speed , high speed at 226 degress . If you had factory scan tool or a professional type you could view coolant temp data in pcm , you could also energize the relays to see if the system is operating normally . There are other repair shops beside dealers

What is the difference between automatic ac and manual ac

manual AC you set fan speed etc, auto you just set the temp where you want it and the fan will automatically adjust it's speed to maintain the temp you selected, it also automatically goes from recirculate to fresh air.

Air conditioner goes off when fan speed is increased

when it's on 'auto', the fan adjusts according to the temp in the car and the temp setting you have it set at. try setting the auto temp control down to 65, then hit the "-" one more time to send it to "LO" - the fan should automatically jump up to max.

Location of Temperature control, 1995 Buick ParkAve.

Go to your local auto parts dealer and rent a code reader. I would also recommend you buy a Haynes/Chilton book for your specific make/model of car.while your @ the auto store. Extract the code and look up the code in the manual. Then take that information you have from the code reader manual, and look it up in the Haynes/Chilton manual. If you have found this information helpful, please vote for this reply, thanks.
