A lot of Chevrolet vehicles don't have a replaceable fuel filter. They are located in the fuel tank.

Fuel filter location for 2006 kia optima 4 cyl

It depends, early production, it shows an inline fuel filter, The picture I have doesn't have any orientation, as far as location, you can't tell. I'd have to follow the fuel line. If you find it, make sure no pressure on the fuel system before you take anything loose.
Late production, says the fuel filter is part of fuel pump assembly.

I cant locate the fuel filter in my outback 2002

Hi,

The fuel filter is inside the tank of your car. This is located under the passenger seat in the back.

It is just a small filter inside the fuel tank.

u will need to replace the fuel pump. The pump is located inside the fuel tank, remember to replace the fuel filter also or the new pump warranty will be voided.
