Question about 2007 Honda Odyssey

1 Answer

I have a 2006 Honday Odyssey with a 3rd row seat problem. The larger seat (passenger side) is stuck. From the flat (cargo) position I can pull it up and it engages just fine (and disengages to fold flat again). But pulling the strap to make it into a seat does not work. I can hear things moving and I think it may be working on the right side, but the left/middle doesn't seem to be working.

There might be some bolts and screws that came a lose inside and should be looked over by someone that knows what they are doing to get in there to fix it.

How to remove 3rd row seat

If your Freestar is similar to earlier Windstars, third row seat removal is approached from the rear with the tailgate open. There are two latches at the bottom that pull up to release the seat from its locked position. You tilt the seat forward and pull up then pull the seat back toward you to release.

My honda odyssey touring does not have a spare tire. We bought this as a brand new car. The first time i had a flat tire we checked everywhere in the car even with AAA service help and we were not able to...

2005 Honda Odyssey TOURING models originally came with Michelin PAX run-flats and eliminated the traditional dough-nut spare. If your van no longer has run-flats (look at the tire size) then your van has already been De-PAX'd...count your lucky stars because PAX tires run about 300 a tire plus!!! If you have been De-PAX'd then you will need a donut spare (T135/80D17) this goes into the spare tire space located behind the 3rd row of seats. this Site has everything you will need for the spare http://www.hondapartworld.com/1534_SPARE-SHJ

I have a old mercury villager ...i want to replace the middle row seat with last row seat ...is it posible...?

The middle row seat slides forward to the middle position (and several other positions as well.)

Owners manual explains how to slide rear seat foreard.
Remove middle row seats. Lift handle under 3rd row seat cushion on passenger side. Raise seat cushion up until it locks up. Then lift the lever on the passenger side of seat and pull seat forward until it locks in place.

if you don't have owner manual, go to motorcraft.com, pro center, tech info, owner manual.

2006 Ford Explorer: Back seat won't fold flat to create flat cargo area. It folds down but not flush.

Okay so im just going to start from the seat being upright in a normal riding position.

1. You need to fold the head rests first. Pull the black tab under both headrests. They should spring into a folded position.

2. pull the side seat lever (on the door side of the seat). This will fold the top/back support down to an angle.

3. There is one more lever on the backside of this seat. Its in plain sight on the angled portion of your seat. Lift the big plastic lever.

4. While keeping the handle lifted, grasp the back of the seat and pull it torwards the front of the car. The seat should come unlocked and roll forward and down more towards the floor. If you have a bunch of junk on the floor, it obviously wont work. clear the path and the seat will fold completely flat.

Also, your drivers seat and front passenger seat cannot be all the way back, they need to come forward some in order for the second row seats' head rests to clear and fold flat.

How do you remove the rear seat out of a 2001 Ford Excursion

If you are talking about the third row seat, the first step is to fold the seat down. Pull the lever behind the passenger side of the third row seat and fold the seat down. Then, from the cargo area, raise the bar located directly behind the third row seat and lift the seat forward. The seat should now be detached from the car and can be removed. When you reinstall the seat, be sure to secure the seat properly so passengers do not get injured in a sudden vehicle maneuver. This should help you to fix your problem. Remove seat from second row in Honda Mini Van 2007

on the passenger side feel under the seat and there is a lever that pulls toward you as you stand at the sliding door.

First, raise the armrest, then lower the back all the way forward. Then remove the headrest sit it out of the way and while pulling the lever under the seat towards you, lift up the seat from the back so it tilts forward. When it is standing on its "nose" lift first one side shifting it either forward or backwards to clear the rod on which it is hooked. Do the same with the other side of the seat and then lift it out. Installation is the reverse of removal.

The other seat is much the same, though sometimes the lever is a little different but in the same place.

Good luck,
bob

I want to make my 1999 Mercury Villager Sport into a cargo loader, with just the front seats kept and the rest of the back empty. How do I remove the other 3 seats? So far, I can't get any of them to budge...

the middle seats come out easily. There are 2 handles you have to lift up on each of the bucket seats, they are in the front of the seat down by the seat tracks. After you lift them, tilt the seat upward in the front and rotate them backward. Then lift out of the hooks. Each seat is held down by 4 hoks.

The 3rd row seat is not designed to come out xcept by a technician. It does slide forward all the way up to the front seat. It has a sliding seat track.
First, lift the T handle under the seat cushion on the left front side of the seat. This will allow you to lift the seat bottom up all the way to lcok in the full up position.
Then, lift the lever on the same side of the seat and slide the seat forward. It will stop in 4 places.
Rear -Rear
6 inches forward of that.
another two ft to the second row seating position
full frward against the front seats.

Pleae rate as fixya if this helps.

Stuck seat - 3rd row seating

Maybe you have a blown fuse, have you checked it ? The owners manual has a diagram of the interior fuse box, what amp to use, etc. You can visually see if the fuse is blown just like a light bulb. If not, then you may have an electrical problem which also has to do with the fuse box, etc.
