Oil light keeps coming on put oil in it but it runs hot

OIL SENDING UNIT(A SENSOR TYPE SWITCH LOCATED ON ENGINE) MAY NEED REPLACED ASAP FOR OIL LIGHT STAYING ON. IF YOU PUT TOO MUCH OIL IN IT WILL OVERHEAT DUE TO VALVES BEING DROWNED BY EXCESSIVE OIL-CHECK TAILPIPE FOR WET OIL RESIDUE. WILL LOSE POWER ON ACCELERATION.
