you dont as the water is condensation and if it doesnt run away then it will make the floor of the car wet ,unless you tie a bucket under the car to collect this water then depending on the outside temperature as to the amount you collect you could then stop every so often and water a tree growing on the side of the road .

Don't waist peoples time by thinking your funny and that we all have time to waist reading nonproductive answers like that. Simply enough, you don't know the answer obviously. Try some stand up comedy joint, and good luck with that. You'll need it

The sensor for the latch may be shorted or water is in the sensor, the sensor is most likely attached to the hood latch and to verify that just look for wiring and the latch and follow it to the sensor for the hood latch.

Ac water leak pass side foot well 2007 xk jag

Usually a sign the drain for the HVAC box is stopped up.
There should be a small hose or tube sticking out of the firewall or floor near the passenger's feet where the water drains out to the ground.
That hose or the bottom of the HVAC box may have debris or dirt blocking the hose.

Are you sure the battery is good, just because you charged it doesn't mean it is any good and reached full voltage. I also suggest you disconnect the battery negative cable for 5 minutes to reset the system.

How do you clean the aircon drain, as water is dripping into passenger footwell. Jaguar xk 4.2 2006 conv. thankyou Karon

Find where the drain pipe exits the car - normally under or by the wheel arch/ lower engine frame. check it is not blocked with debris as the pipe end often has a soft moulded section which is designed to stop blow-back but allow water to pass. if this is okay try blowing UP the pipe to clear obstructions. hope this helps - good luck
