Question about 1995 BMW 5 Series
Sometimes the thermostat will stick closed. causing rapid overheating. Did you flush the system? The passages in the block, head and/or radiator themselves could be blocked, first start out by changing the thermostat, then flush out system with a good flush of system. if water pump is ok, and there is no leaks, and the coolant is up to par. then it should be ok. have a good one ! if you are loosing coolant then check for a bad head gasket or a leak in system.
